Hare krishna,
dandawat pranam,
all glories to gura and gourango

I have some series of qeustions to ask.

1. I heard many times that lord has given us free will, he does not interfere in our free will. He always      gives us options to choose.
where is this mentioned in the shastra. Please mention it with the slokas.

2. How to pay obeiances to the greatest vaisnava shiva. How can we pray to him to get blessing
from him?

3. As we know in the peepal tree and in the mother cow, all the demigods resides. So how can we
offer prayer to pay obeiances to peepal tree and mother cow?

Hare krishna!!!

    we have free will of

    ----TAKING SHELTER OF MAYA or

    ----TAKING SHELTER OF KRISHNA.

Our free will is to select one of those. Spiritual soul never can be free at all. We are always depended either on Krishna or His external energy.

As like woman is depended on her husband or becomes a society woman and depend on other men...

    Your servant,

  • Hare Krsna !

Thank you for your nice queries.

    1. Although we easily understand every moment that we have a free will either to do a pious deed or impious. Still as desired, pl find below a quote clarifying that, which Krsna said to Arjuna 'do as you wish" in Bhagvad Gita after enlightening him.

    BG 18.63

    iti te jnanam akhyatam

    guhyad guhyataram maya

    vimrsyaitad asesena

    yathecchasi tatha kuru

Thus I have explained to you knowledge still more confidential. Deliberate on this fully, and then do what you wish to do.

    2. How to pay obesiences to top Vaisnavas like Lord Shiva "vaisnavanam yatha sambhuh"?

by falling flat and offering dandvat pranam.  If we really want to please him we should either chant Hare Krsna or we should only seek blessings for progressing in Krsna consciousness from Him that we are already doing by chanting the Panch tatva mantra before chanting Hare Krsna Maha mantra as Adwaita acharya is combination of Maha Vishnu & Sadashiv in Caitanya Mahaprabhu pastimes.

    3. Why you want to worship the demigods separately. Krsna is the master of everyone including all the demigods. By worshiping Krsna, everyone is pleased/satisfied. "tasmin tuste jagat tusta"

As by pouring water in the roots of the tree, one need not have to put water separately to branches, leaves etc.

    Bhagvad Gita 5.29

    bhoktaram yajna-tapasam

    sarva-loka-mahesvaram

    suhrdam sarva -bhutanam

    jnatva mam santim rcchati

A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.

    thank you.

    Hari Bol !

    • Thank you for your nice reply.

I am not asking the ways of worshiping the demigods. As I know, demigods are also vaisnavas.
Due to their pious activiites they have been honored to such exalted positions.

I only want to know how to pay obesiances to them as they are vaisnavas too.

Sorry if I did any sin by quering with you. I only want to clear my doubt.

      Hare krishna!!!

      • Hare Krsna Prabhu !

thank you for appreciating the reply. We have to learn to see everything with a broader perspective. Like one ask a question generally for himself but many people get benefitted as the question may benefit a lot of others too. Similarly the person who answers also benefits while answering as there are many occasions when the person who answers himself not following what he writes but it acts as sweet reminder.

I have not heard about peepal tree being residence of demigods but yes there are all the demigods present along with Lord Vishnu as Parmatama (Supersoul) in cow so by feeding cow or taking care of cow we are pleasing all, also mainly because cows are very dear to Krsna.

Practically speaking we cannot worship demigods in this age as there are 33 crores demigods and by worshiping a few we will only be neglecting others. How to pay obesiences to pure Vaisnava like Lord Shiva is already replied, by lying down flat, complete dandvat, astaang pranam.  The same process is followed by all pure Vaisnavas like the Sanyasis and the spiritual masters. To other senior devotees we can offer panchang pranam (like women do) half dandvat pranam. For devotees of same level or juniors we can just bow the head and say Hare Krsna!

To think all the demigods as Vaisnavas is incorrect understanding. To become a demigod one need not to be a Vaisnava. A Karam mishar bhakt can reach that stage by worshiping Krsna or any of His expansions with material desires like becoming king of heaven etc. Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma of our millenium/universe from whom our Guru parampara is coming, Yamraja etc. coming in 12 mahajans are some of the pure Vaisnava devotees. There are some demigods and demigoddesses who are karam mishar bhakt like Indra dev is karam mishar bhakt and there are so many instances from where we know that he is very lusty like the Ahlaya episode. Similarly there are other demigods and demigoddesses like Nal kuvera & Mani griva sons of Kuvera who were cursed by Narada muni to become Arjuna tree in the courtyand of Nand Maharaj.

But as you told they are in exalted positions in the Government of Krsna headed by Lord Brahma so they must be respected, so we can say Hare Krsna to them by bowing our head generally or half bending dandvat (panchang pranam).

hope it is a little clear.

        thank you.

        Hare Krsna !

above in the image is the right way of showing our respect to them. Anyways in this age many of Demigods are standing on line in order to take birth as human beings on this Earth Planet in order to attend Harinaam Sankirtan yagya and go back Home to Goloka.

In his lecture once HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja told that Demigods are looking from the sky and shedding tears of how within "two months" these human beings are getting liberated attending Harinaam Sankirtan Yagya. (two months in their calculation our whole human life which is maximum 100 years).

So because of that we pay obeisances to all Vaishnavas whenever we see them. Who knows which one of them a Demigod or not?

Cows we worship my offering her milk to Krishna and honoring that ourselves. By using her urine, dung, curd, ghee....

For example after Krishna killed Putana gopis were afraid of rakshasas so performed purificatory things. They washed His body with urine, applied dust from the feet of cows to His whole body and applied Tilak out of cow dung to His 12 places on His body...

So in this way we worship cows.

        Your servant,
