A question on the Soul?

Hare Krishna,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada..

When the head of a snake is cut off and the head is separated from its body completely, the head can move and bite even after this decapitation. How is this possible??

This question arises on my mind because body cannot move even an inch without the presence of soul. so  when body of a snake is cut into pieces we can see the each part of its body is moving for sometime. How can this be moving?

How is this happening?

Hari Bol..

  • Hare Krishna pr ji....we know that soul is supplying all the energy needed to body....so at that time when the head of snake is being cut some energy remains for a short time which we see as movement....its also same in lizards when its tail is cut off.
It can be understood like when the light bulb is on its due to energy given by electricity but when we switch off that bulb it still glows for 2-3 seconds bcoz the energy in the bulb is still there in less proportion but it is there same case is with the soul.

The soul can time to leave the body. Soul is very attached to body. All the objects of our attachment like phone, car, social status, fb likes, money, house etc are manifestations of attachment of soul.

Which is why dead bodies are burnt so it loses all hopes of getting back and thus ensuring the soul leaves to next destination
