The most important question on the spiritual path is: when is my experience real? When do I have substantial insights that can even carry me through troubling times? In other words, we are searching for a substantial and a very very real connection with Krishna, an experience of the Lord.

The Damodara-lila, which took place in this mont

By Madhava Smullen

Citizens of Buenos Aires, Argentina had their day brightened up when the “Harinama Party Bus” rolled through town on Saturday October 27th.

The idea has been a long time coming and finally became a reality last month. It is the brainchild of husband and wife Prema Rupa Madhava Das and Prema Rupini Madhavi Dasi, who were born in the same year, share the same zodiac sign and were called Paul and Paula before becoming devotees.

The two are also soulmates when it comes to service

On October 27, ISKCON New Vrindaban devotees in West Virginia heard of the horrific mass shooting at the Jewish synagogue in Pittsburgh, a 90-minute drive away from their idyllic rural community. This tragic news affirmed the timeless knowledge of the Srimad Bhagavatam, which instructs us to take shelter of the Supreme Lord in a time where “there is danger at every step” (SB 10.14.58). Devotees visiting New Vrindaban often travel to and from the Pittsburgh airport, and one of t

How many of us hide behind the will of God as an excuse to inactivity or laziness? And how many of us attribute our successes to our efforts alone? The Vedic scriptures teach us that nothing in this world moves without the will of God—He is the creator, controller, overseer of multifarious universes, the benefactor of speech, intelligence, talent, and everything else without which we would be considered useless; however, do we just sit back, waiting for God’s will to save or direct us without e

Yatra to Peddaganjam village.

2515067303?profile=original

If one desires to see the remnants of an ideal village, then Peddaganjam becomes a frontrunner. It is located away from the messy cities. The history of this village is that there existed a great civilization ruled by Vaishnava kings. The clear proof of this is the existence of a stone carved Sri Bhava Narayana Swami temple. The archaeological survey indicates that the temple could be 700 years old. The main occupation in the village consists of agriculture and salt production (known as uppukot

Vraja Mandala Parikrama

By Dayal Mora das

The time was coming around for the temple to send me to India again. Finally! I have the great fortune to serve as brahmachari leader at Sri Sri Radha Londonisvara Dham and I have been serving here for three and half years. I’m into Harinam and it’s a blessing that I can call this service one of my main services.

It was not difficult to choose a destination to request since I had recently seen Parasuram’s video from a Vraja Mandala Parikrama, or Padyatra, from 2010 which was s

Pure love binds Krishna, and nothing else

2015-10-28_09-43-31.jpg?width=600

By Purushottam Nitai Das

Neither Krishna likes to be worshipped as God and nor his pure devotees want to worship him as the Supreme Lord. Krishna prefers an informal relationship with his very close devotees as friend, as son and as a paramour. He enjoys joking, laughing, playing and eating with his friends at the bank of Yamuna. He rejoices teasing and dancing with the girls of Gokula. And at home he is a naughty little child of Mother Yashoda and Nanda Maharaj. In Vrindavan Krishna is the cen
