However, such speculations of them are faulty just like their all theories, because Lord Krishna and Rama are mentioned in the Primary Vedas. However it has become a habit by impersonalis

Thank you for reaching out to me today, I am already marking pages in the book while I am at the airport to
In spiritual life there is always the transcendental dimension – the dimension of auspiciousness, of purification, of eternal benefit and of getting more and more mercy of Krsna. Sometimes we like the material side in spiritual life more – the temple, a festival, the cheese in the subji or devotees who are our friends and at other times we may find spiritual life to be a big austerity. Sometimes we may like to chant and at other times, it is a struggle but whatever it may be, the spiritual dime

In the story of Bhrgu Muni, you know how Bhrgu Muni was sent by the sages to test who is the greatest amongst Brahma, Visnu and Siva. And in this regard Srila Prabhupada explains one’s greatness has to be estimated by one’s ability to tolerate provoking situations. That is greatness! One’s greatness has to be estimated by one’s ability to tolerate provoking situations. Provoking situations of temptations into lust, temptations into anger, temptations into false pride, it is very difficult.

- Scriptures glorify that Lord Shiva is the topmost Vaishnava. We can see many references of this in Bagawad Gita, Bhagawatam and many Puranas.
- In Srimad Bhagawatam we can see the instances when Pracetas pleased lord Shiva very much. Lord Shiva appeared before them and gave them the Narayana mantra (Srimad bhagawatam 4th canto 24th chapter).
- Once a Brahmāna who is a sincere devotee of Lord Shiva asks for a benediction which is the best. Then Lord Shiva sends him to Sanatana Goswami. Sanatana Go

16 years ago, after graduating from UCL with a management degree, I opted to leave it aside and embrace monastic life instead. Ironically, it’s all come full circle; dealing with people, projects and practicalities is a sizeable section on the modern monastic menu. I must have some management karma to burn off. Balancing spiritual immersion and practical politics, however, is incredibly challenging. You have to be alert, streetwise, tuned in, and sensitive
The Uttarakhand high court on Monday declared the Ganga and Yamuna living entities, bestowing on them same legal rights as a person, a move that could help in efforts to clean the pollution-choked rivers.
The order also ends the five-day reign of New Zealand’s Whanganui River as the only one in the world to be granted living entity status.
The court’s order will allow complaints to be filed in the name of the two rivers, held sacred by millions of Hindus. It also gives the Centre eight weeks t
The film HARE KRISHNA! — formerly titled ACHARYA—the 90 minute feature length documentary on the life of Srila Prabhupada is nearly finished. Post-production in Los Angeles is winding down and the film should be finished by the end of this month, thus coming to a close 3 years of production work.
An anonymous donor has agreed to match any funds donated towards distribution up to $20,000. Further donations will ensure that the film will be released to the public as quickly and as widely as po

Chaitanya Charan Das: Question – When Ajamila chanted the names of Lord Hari with the wrong conception (i.e. with the conception of his son), then why did Vishnudutas appear over there?
Answer– Acharyas have explained that initially Ajamila chanted the names of Narayana with the thoughts of his son in his mind but as he called out his son, ‘Narayana’, the Lord’s name invoked the true knowledge in his mind. At that time when he saw Yamadutas coming towards him, he immediately realized, based on
Today, Sri Prahlad prabhu gave the Sunday morning Srimad Bhagavatam talk from Canto 9, Chapter 19 (King Yayati achieves Liberation), verse 20.
In this verse, King Yayati is explaining to his wife the futility of pursuing material happiness. As a part of the royal family, they had ample resources to enjoy for a long time. Having taken youth from his son, the King was able to enjoy the vigour of his body as much as he wanted. However, as time passed, he gradually realised that it was a shallow lif
