This is a story about how Srila Pabhupad instructed his disciple about cocoa contained in chocolates and inspired that disciple to get higher taste.

Prabhupad took under his care a small orphan boy. Among other services, this boy was given one service of buying vegetables from the market for Srila Prabhupad’s kitchen.

One day (specifically in the summer of year 1973) the boy bought some chocolates (cadbury and 5 star) using the left

1. tamisra, rebellious rejection of the Lord’s service;
2. andha-tamisra, considering death to be the ultimate conclusion;
3. tamas, ignorance of one’s position as a jiva;
4. moha, the illusory bodily conception of life;
5. maha-moha, attachment for material enjoyment 

cloud the pure spiritual consciousness of the jiva. The sole cause of why the jiva becomes either liberated or conditioned lies in the proper or improper use of his minute independence.”

Lord Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita 4.7

yada yada hi dharmasya glanir bhavati bharata
abhyutthanam adharmasya tadatmanam srjamy aham

“Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion - at that time I descend Myself.”

The religious principle for all living beings is to always remember Krishna and never forget Krishna. It is explained in the Chaitanya Charitamrta 22.113

If Krsna saves, nobody can kill; and if Krsna wants to kill, nobody can
