So if one is actually intelligent, then he should consider that "I don't want this lamentation. Why it is forced upon me?" It is forced upon me -- on my desire, on my desire. It is not forced by any external thing. It is my desire. I wanted this position, and I got it by the grace of Krsna, but when I got it, then again... Because the nature is like that, material nature... Duhkhalayam asasvatam [Bg. 8.15]. You can place yourself in any position -- the whole thing is duhkhalayam; it is miserable

Sometimes a child becomes too adamant and wants to run away from house to be all alone. But his concerned mother does not leave him alone. She hides and keeps a vigil to ensure that nothing wrong happens to his little kid. Similarly when we rebel against the Lord in the spiritual world and decide to leave him to lead an independent life then Lord reluctantly allows us to have our way. However he is too concerned about our well – being, so he accompanies us in this material world.

Hare Krishna, so  thank you for this opportunity being with all of you this morning,  we  get to hear so much about all  of you and being on the same planet, we don’t get to see each other so much.  You are ‘durlabh ‘su durlabh’ but we are here today this morning. So we have here this Srimad Bhagavatam – Canto 5, chapter 18 and text 23, please repeat

“Sa tva mampya acyuta sirsni vanditam

 karambhujam yat tvad adhayi satvatam

bi bharsi mam laksma

So therefore when we come to the full-fledged human form of life, developed consciousness, we must utilize it, as it is advised by Krsna Himself, man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam namaskuru [Bg. 18.65].
