How Lord Protects Dharma

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

To protect dharma (paritrāṇāya sādhūnām), the Lord always wants the ruler of the earth to be a devotee. Then everything goes on nicely for the benefit of everyone. As soon as a demon rules the earth, everything becomes chaotic. At the present moment, the world is inclined toward the democratic process, but the people in general are all contaminated by the modes of passion and ignorance. Consequently they cannot select th

Hare Krsna

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

There are swine, dogs, camels, asses, etc., whose economic necessities are just as important to them as ours are to us, but the economic problems of these animals are solved only under nasty and unpleasant conditions. The human being is given all facilities for a comfortable life by the laws of nature because the human form of life is more important and valuable than animal life. Srila Prabhupada was very clear that he wanted distribution of his books to continue.

"So please, I beg you, continue distributing my books in this way and Krsna will pour His blessings upon you all."

Srila Prabhupada BEGGED us to distribute his books, and why? Look all around to see. Everyone is full of intense suffering. S

An extract from the book Bhajana Rahasya by Bhaktivinoda Thakur :

In the sixteen word Hare Krishna mantra there are eight pairs of names. Corresponding to these eight pairs, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has recited the eight shlokas of the Shikshashtaka.

The first pair of names—Hare Krishna—signifies the subduer of ignorance and the performance of nama-sankirtana with faith. The second pair—Hare Krishna—means Krishna's names are invested with all potencies. One should have attachment for bhajana by taking

Thought Of The Day

Bhagavan means six opulences. Nobody is richer than Bhagavan, nobody is stronger than Bhagavan, nobody is more beautiful than Bhagavan, nobody is wiser than Bhagavan, and nobody is more renouncer than Bhagavan. That is Bhagavan. To understand Krsna is not so easy, but if you follow the mahajana, if you try to understand the philosophy through the parampara system, then you'll realize Krsna and your life will be successful.
