SURAT: Thousands of devotees participated in the Lord Jagannath RathYatra organized in the city which turned out to be a joyful celebration with continuous rainfall till late evening. The Rath Yatra, organized by ISKCON temple, started near Surat railway station and ended at ISKCON temple in Jahangirpura in the evening.

jneyah sa nitya-sannyasi
yo na dvesti na kanksati
nirdvandvo hi maha-baho
sukham bandhat pramucyate

SYNONYMS

jneyah--should be known; sah--he; nitya--always; sannyasi--renouncer; yah--who; na--never; dvesti--abhors; na--nor; kanksati--desires; nirdvandvah--free from all dualities; hi--certainly; maha-baho--O mighty-armed one; sukham--happily; bandhat--from bondage; pramucyate--is completely liberated.

One who neither hates nor desires the fruits of his activities is known to be a

The devotee rejects everything unfavorable with determination because he knows that this thing is detrimental to his spiritual progress, and if he does not get rid of it now, it will kill him spiritually.

Just creating people who can earn, who can invent, is not going to help the world in itself unless people become holistic, become united with their own inner spiritual nature and act with dynamic compassion.
