"Darwin speaks about the evolution of the species of life, but he has no real information about spiritual evolution. He knows nothing about the progress of the spirit soul from lower forms of life to higher forms. He claims that man has evolved from monkeys, but we can see that the monkey is not extinct. If the monkey is the immediate forefather of man, why is the monkey still existing?"

By Mahaksa (das) KCS (SK)

Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada and his harinam-sankirtan mission!!

Few days back there was very interesting article by Dusyanta dasa about our prasadam diet. It was taken very properly and deeply to show us how a piece of food on our plates is connected to a spread branches of actions and reactions. And just by single choice what do we support? Huge hellish factories or Vaisnava communities.

Thousands of people turned up for Durban’s 27th Ratha Yatra festival along the beachfront yesterday. The 5-hour parade captured the attention of both locals and tourists as 3 large chariots rumbled through the streets. The festival continues for 3 more days with attractions in an assortment of tents, large and small, not far from the beach. I was happy to be out and about once again, sharing with the world the wonder of Krsna consciousness though the eye of my camera.

Thought Of The Day

There are different varieties of yogis. So of all the yogis, the bhakti-yogi who is thinking of Krsna within the mind, he is the first-class yogi. So in our movement we are creating first-class yogis because they are chanting Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. So this is directly to create first-class yogis.
