Thought Of The Day

So in this Kali-yuga, people are so much disturbed. Therefore, Krsna has come in the form of His name, Hare Krsna. Krsna has come not personally, but by His name. But because Krsna is absolute, there is no difference between His name and Himself. Abhinnatvan nama-naminoh. Nama-cintamani krsna-caitanya-rasa-vigrahah purnah suddho nitya-muktah. Name is full. As Krsna is full, complete, similarly, Krsna's name is also full, complete. Suddha. It is not material things. Purnah suddhah nityah. Eternal

Q: Whose service Krishna appreciates more, Laxmiji or  Tulasi Devi and why ?

Ans:  Srila Prabhupada explains it in his purport of SB 3.16.21

It is said in the Brahma-saṁhitā that the Lord is always served by many hundreds of thousands of goddesses of fortune in His Vaikuṇṭha planet, yet because of His attitude of renunciation of all opulences, He is not attached to any one of them. The Lord has six opulences — unlimited wealth, unlimited fame, unlimited stren

Remember What

It seems to me in modern times man prays and has attention for God for material gain. Once man has this, then he forgets. Example "dear God please help me get this job tomorrow"
No. Try again. Never use God. What does the cash in your wallet have to do with your soul? "Dear God, I remain knowing that you are always here, thank you for loving me, I will not forget so you can continue helping me grow and know and always strive to be a good person." There, that's better.

Anyone in the entire world, even down to the caṇḍāla, who lives by cooking and eating the flesh of the dog, is immediately purified if he takes bath in hearing through the ear the glorification of My name, fame, etc. Now you have realized Me without doubt; therefore
