The ISKCON India Communications Conference was successfully held from January 17-19, 2026, at ISKCON Mayapur, bringing together communication representatives from temples across India and neighbouring countries. Krishna Premarupa Dasa’s path into Krishna Consciousness began in a modest Zurich second-hand bookshop, where a young man steeped in Roman Catholic traditions discovered a slim Bhagavad-gita. “I thought, this is like a Bible, but it’s a Hindu Bible,” he remembers, running his finger over the thin pages. That spark ignited a lifelong dedication, leading to his appointment as GBC Zonal Secretary for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.

The 2024 Zone 1 Leadership Conference, held from November 8th to 10th in Edmonton, Alberta, brought together over 60 leaders from more than 25 ISKCON centers across Canada and six northern U.S. states. On Saturday, April 20th, temple leaders from across Southern Ontario gathered at ISKCON Brampton for a day of collaboration and camaraderie. About 30 representatives from 11 centres came together to exchange ideas, strategies, and experiences.
