Q. In Narottama dasa Thakur's prayers in Prema Bhakti Candrika he identifies the six enemies of the mind: lust, anger, greed, illusion, pride (madness) and envy. He says he will use them in their proper way in devotional service.

I have many times heard it stated that there is no place for envy in devotional service, or in the spiritual world. However, Narottama dasa Thakur says:

"I will engage my lust in eagerness to serve Krishna and I will use my anger against those who are envious of the devot

"Jan Gan Man" is national anthem of India written by Ravindranath Tagore.

Many people dont know that it have 5 paragraphs (Because all are not sung)

It was written in Bengali but most of the words are Sanskrit.

Linguist tried to understand why Tagore wrote it for King George V?

They were trying to find with what intention did Tagore compose this song?

And they arrived at the conclusion that it was not written for King nor it refers to 'Bharat Mata' or mother earth it was specifically written for Lord

The most essential quality necessary for achieving spiritual perfection is humility. Without humility, no matter how much else one may accomplish in the service of the Lord, one will be blocked by his false pride from spiritual perfection. The living being will not be released from his entanglement within the three modes of material nature and will thus remain in the cycle of birth and death.  Therefore we must learn from the spiritual master what is the real meaning of humility.

Question: Can God Be Proven Rationally? -

I am writing this blog to let devotee community know about Krishna Conscious activities going in Ujjain and Indore cities.

Indore is a Tier-2 City of India also know as business capital of M.P. State. While Ujjain is a ancient holy tier - 3 city. Ujjain is famous among devotees since here Lord Krishna took stayed in Gurukul of Sandipani Muni.

Both cities are near to each other and have beautiful ISKCON temples.

I have been a devotee for going on 10 years.  My family is small, and we live in the city.  There are not a lot of opportunities for me to learn how to be the most devout that I can be and, in truth, one of my biggest obstacles was my Ekadasi-phobia.  I was just terrified that I would ruin it somehow by using a spice I shouldn't, or that I would forget entirely in the morning and go for my cup of tea.
