Panihati is located on the banks of the Ganges 10 miles North of Calcutta, in West Bengal India. It is the site of many wonderful spiritual pastimes of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His close personal associates.
This pastime of the Lord is about how the devotees pleased Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda and how the Lord reciprocated with the devotees in a very wonderful and pleasing festival called the Panihati Cida-dadhi ma

It is because certain persons, although strictly practising the religious rituals, scrutinizingly learning the religious philosophy and dedicatedly propagating those rituals and philosophy, never really humble themselves or strive to become purified of false pride. Unless they very diligently strive to become purified of false pride, that pride will creep into

The following is an instructive moral story told by His Divine Grace Bhaktisiddantha Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupada.

A small but touching story with a deep message.

A ticket collector in a train found an old worn out wallet in a compartment full of many people. He looked inside to find the name of its owner. There was no clue. All that there was in it, was some money and a picture of Bhagwan Sri Krishna. He held it up and asked, 'Who does this wallet belong to?'

collector said, 'You'll have to prove that it is yours. Only then I can hand it

The quality and quantity of your sleep can make a sizable difference on how productive you'll be the next day. Here are few tips to help you get the sleep you need and deserve:

Whenever you are in some service – or when you are taking risks, making things happen, interacting with others, or in the public eye – you are bound to make mistakes. At times you are going to use bad judgment, say something wrong, offend someone, criticize unnecessarily, be too demanding, or act selfishly. The question isn’t whether you will make these mistakes – we all do. The question is, can you admit to them? If so, the question becomes, can you apologize?

Many people never apologize. Th

We cannot accept anyone as an avatara unless he has the symptoms described in the scriptures. Nowadays it has become a fashion that any man can come and say that he is God or an incarnation of God, and some accept it: "Oh, he is God." We do not accept an avatara like that. We take evidence from the Vedas. An avatara must conform to descriptions in the Vedas. Then we accept him; otherwise no. For each avatara there is a description in the Vedas: He will appear at such and such a place, in such an
