So our position is like that. Everything is full. Still, we are dying and fighting. What is the reason? The reason is that we do not follow Krsna. This is the reason: absence of Krsna consciousness. My Guru Maharaja used to say that the whole world is full of everything. Only scarcity is Krsna consciousness. Only scarcity. Otherwise there is no scarcity. Everything is full. And if you take the instruction of Krsna you will be happy immediately. You can make the whole world happy. This instructio

I wrote about that devotee I knew, Ghanshyam Baba. He didn’t demand anything, he just wanted to serve. He just wanted to give. This consciousness is Krishna Consciousness. We have a disease, we expect things according to our wish. That’s the source of all suffering. If we expect things to go according to our wish, we have to suffer and we cause suffering to other people as well. Wh

At Vidyanagara in South India there were once two brahmanas who decided to make a long tour to see different places of pilgrimage. First they visited Gaya, then Kasi, then Prayaga. Finally, with great pleasure, they came to Mathura. There they visited all twelve forests of Vrndavana, saw Govardhana Hill and at last came to the town of Vrndavana itself.
In Vrndavana, a

A song by Srila Narottama dasa Thakura
Five hundred years ago, Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, appeared in West Bengal in the role of His own pure devotee Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Caitanya is considered the most munificent incarnation of Godhead because He made love for Krsna easily available through the chanting of the maha-mantra Hare Krsna
In the sastra it is said, advaitam acyutam anadim ananta-rupam [Bs. 5.33]. Krsna has ananta-rupam. Therefore every rupa is expansion of Krsna's original rupa. The original rupa is Krsna. Krsnas tu bhagavan svayam [SB 1.3.28]. Then there are so many rupas: Rama, Nrsimha, Varaha, Balarama, Parasurama, Mina, Tortoise, Nrsimhadeva. Ramadi-murtisu kala-niyamena tisthan [Bs. 5.39]. He's always existing with different forms, not that he is existing only in Krsna form.

A girl sitting with her friends in a bus responded to the offer of a Gita: "I have a Bhagavad-gita at home, I don’t need another one."
I asked whether she had Bhagavad-gita As It Is.
She arrogantly asked, "What does it matter? They're all the same."
I replied, "Well, all buses are the same, but you are sitting only on this bus."
She said that this is because she had to go to the place where this bus goes and the other buses, though they look like, don’t go there.

The miseries of material existence for a devotee are unfortunately sometimes necessary to take things seriously. Unless we suffer we will not take things seriously. Unless we suffer without and understand the need, then we take things cheaply and one of the most abominable ways of taking things cheaply is to be demanding, simply abominable from the perspective of devotional service. na dh

In 1969, soon after "transcendental meditation" first caught the fancy of people in America, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, gave this talk at Boston's Northeastern University.
My dear boys and girls, I thank you very much for attending this meeting. We are spreading this Krsna consciousness movement because there is a great need

So this Krsna consciousness movement means nothing..., everything is there; it has to be purified by diverting the same thing for Krsna. Just like we have got feelings for raising children, attachment. That is attachment. So what Mother Yasoda is doing? She is attached to Krsna, and that is Vrndavana. The same thing in otherwise... Vrndavana life means all attachment to Krsna. Mother Yasoda is attached to Krsna, Nanda Maharaja is attached to Krsna, the cowherd boys are attached to Krsna, the cal

Introduction
When I first began to study the bible, the people I studied with told me that it was wrong for me to be a vegetarian. I have found a common attack by Christians, and even Muslims on vegetarianism goes along the lines of "God said we could eat meat. Are you trying to say you are more merciful than God?" The answer to that question is "surely not", God should be the most merciful being. To help faith-based vegetarians, this article will discuss how vegetarianism relates to the bible, a

The meaning of the Bhagavad Gita as given in dictionaries is as follows–
(Hinduism) the sacred `song of God’ composed about 200 BC and incorporated into the Mahabharata (a Sanskrit epic); contains a discussion between Krishna and the Indian hero Arjuna on human nature and the purpose of life.
The Bhagavad Gita (Song of God), also more simply known as Gita, is a Sanatana Dharma or Hindu scripture produced from the colloquy given by Shri Krishna to Arjuna during the
A full year of preparations paid off in our best Ratha Yatra festival in 25 years. The holy names resounded throughout the beach area and people of all ethnic groups enjoyed the fun. The hearts of the Vaisnavas were completely satisfied.
