In the late 1990s, a BBT conference handling questions from translators sparked a renewed interest in the history of Srila Prabhupada’s books.

त्राण नहीं सन्निकट मरण से, अपर सूत्र तज मूढ़मते॥१॥
अर्थ:
हे मूर्ख, भगवान का बार-बार भजन कर। मृत्यु के समीप आने पर सीखी हुई सारी विद्याएँ निर्रथक हो जाती हैं। इसलिए तू भगवान की हीं शरण ले, उन्हीं को पुकार।
आदि शंकराचार्य ऐसे गाते थे जैसे उनकी जिह्वा पर देवी सरस्वती का वास हो। इस श्लोक में भी शायद देवी स्वयं उनके मुख से संसारी प्राणी से कह रही है
