On this very auspicious day I would like to thank Gurudeva for all the mercy
he has bestowed upon me by accepting me as his disciple. I am but nothing
but to the association of devotees I have been able to understand the
science of self realisation. By listenig to the lectures of Guru Maharaja, I
am able to develop love towards Prabhupada. Gurudeva, your attachment to
Srila Prabhupada is so strong that anyone in your association is also imbued
with the love of Jagat Guru Srila Prabhupada. However, I am so unfortunate
that Gurudeva is not able to give me darshan personally. On behalf of
Mauritian devotees I am praying to Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada to

Today is very auspicious day for us and we are very glad for your appearance
tithi Vyasa Puja Festival. We all Sankirtan devotees offer our humble
obeisances at your lotus feet. We are so much fortunate because we are
getting the most matchless gift that Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu brought from
Goloka Vrindavana to this material world and which was distributed by Srila
Prabhupada who is His dearest devotee. Although we never got Srila
Prabhupada’s physical association but we are always getting the association
of his dearest and nearest disciples who are always glorifying the
transcendental qualities of Srila Prabhupada .
You are one of those who are always glorifying Srila Prabhupada’s . You are
one of the dearest disciples of Srila Prabhupada . Srila Prabhupada is
showering his mercy through his dearest disciples . The magnanimous
distribution of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s causeless mercy is performed
through the book distribution of Srila Prabhupada . Srila Prabhupada
empowered you with that great responsibility .
You pleased Srila Prabhupada by your humility and politeness . Therefore
Srila Prabhupada expressed the deepest desire of his heart through you. In
2007 when His Grace Jananivas Prabhu was glorifying you , he said that at
the moment of Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance in Sridham Vrindavana you,
His Holiness Tamal Krishna Maharaj & His Holiness Bhabananda Maharaj were in
a meeting next to Srila Prabhupada’s room and discussing about what had to
be done after Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance and just at that moment
Srila Prabhupada disappeared. The next day perhaps His Grace Vishalakshi
Mataji saw Srila Prabhupada in her dream and she asked Srila Prabhupada ,
"Why did you leave us like that ? Srila Prabhupada answered that Tamal
Krishna and Bhakti Charu are so humble that I can not leave in front of
them, I can not be so cruel with them so I took the chance of their
absence.
Whenever you met Srila Prabhupada, you would always offered your humble
obeisances by loudly chanting Srila Prabhupada’s pranam mantra. By that you
are always blessed by Srila Prabhupada and he expressed his deepest desire
to you. Srila Prabhupada used to say that "If you really want to please me
then distribute my books." "My books should be distributed." "Book
distribution is the most important activity than management". "The sales
figures, this is the only solace in my life. When I hear that my books are
selling nicely, I become energetic like a young man..."
Srila Prabhupada personally had instructed you to translate his books into
Bengali and personally he trained you to do that job. You always instructed
us that Srila Prabhupada’s books are so powerful , if anybody touches
those books he must become Krishna conscious . Thus we are always getting
so much inspiration on your words and association. Whenever you are present
in Sridham Mayapur, you always inspire sankirtan devotees to distribute the
books and tell us that this books are so powerful that if anybody buys these
books and keep at their home even if they don’t study, still their house
will be purified there is no doubt about it . In another meeting you
expressed your instruction that "Your duty is only to bring the books in
every house. Some one of any generation in their dynasty will read this
books and will become devotee and thus he will pay the debt of your hard
work."
Nowadays 328 temples around the world are sending the book distribution
reported to ‘world Sankirtan News Letters’. Out of them 65 temples are in
Asia and out of them 21 temples are in India . Among all the big temples
around the world Sridham Mayapur got the highest position in book
distribution . Till date from Sridham Mayapur total 1,13,65,544 books are
distributed. Srila Prabhupada had instructed to H.H. Jaypataka Swami Maharaj
to distribute 10,000 big books and 1,00,000 small books every month,.
According to this instruction we should distribute 13,00,000 books per year
from Mayapur but we reached only 5,00,000 per year.
Your Bengali translation is very reliable and easy to understand for
Bengali people . In preaching we see in Bengal after reading once Srila
Prabhupada books many of the people are wishing to read more books . Srila
Prabhupada declared that his Krishna Consciousness movement will deliver the
conditioned soul for next 10,000 years . The spiritual thirst of each and
every Bengali is quenched by reading your translation of His Divine Grace’s
books . As a translator of Srila Prabhupada’s books, Bengali people will
always remain grateful to you and will glorify you for the next 10,000
years.
Srila Prabhupada arranged this greatest system to distribute the Lord’s
mercy in the material world by his transcendental vision . Getting the
inspiration from you , we 100 sankirtan devotees except this truth in our
life as a most important service to Lord Krishna . Please bestow upon us
your blessings to fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s desires and achieve our life’s
goal .
So, we pray to your Divine Grace and the assembled devotees, please bless us
and support us so that we can distribute Srila Prabhupada books, translated
by you so profusely, that a day will come when the whole of Bengal will be
inundated by Krishna Consciousness and thus we may achieve our goal.

This is my humble offering to Your Grace on this auspicious day of your holy
appearance. I deeply thank Radha-Krishna for letting you appear on this very
day on earth as Your Grace has done many great and extraordinary services
for your beloved Srila Prabhupada. I am so thankful that Your Grace has
accepted a fool like me as your daughter & disciple which I take very
seriously. I am so fortunate to have Your Grace as my spiritual father, Your
Grace is the most loving and gentle father any child could ask for. I am
yours completely, I surrender myself more and more to your lotus feet as the

kindly gifted me with a connection to Prabhupada and the spiritual world. A
year has not even passed after Your Grace kindly blessed this servant with
initiation but my spiritual master has freely gifted me with immense mercy
that my spiritual life actually has taken shape and a path. I know who I am
and what I must do. Gurudeva, I am so indebted to your lotus feet, what can
a beggar offer Your Grace, I only have my shraddha, determination and
service to offer at the dust of your lotus feet so kindly accept. You mean
everything to me and I will give up my life for you. My heart sometimes
bears the pains of this material world but when I see your beautiful face
and hear your soothing voice, those pains become so insignificant. I love
having your personal association, it’s so special like the most important

Gurudeva, I am doing the very best to serve my beloved spiritual master but
please forgive me if I create any offenses. I simply adore Sri Sri
Gaura-Nitai and love engaging in as much service as this body can endure. I
have done an audit on my sense gratification (long overdue) and have given
up many material things and still working on others, it’s not an easy task
but I am trying my utmost. I am ecstatic because you have appointed me as
your editor for your lectures, for many years I have done this work and it
felt like such a burden but doing this service for my master now that is
blissful. Prabhupada is so right one can dovetail anything and everything
for the service of Krishna. Bless this servant my master so that I may do
this service and always serve your lotus feet with love and surrender not
tainted by any pride or recognition for myself. I pray to Gurudeva today,
bless this low servant so that I may become humble, and chant attentively
developing more care for Nama Prabhu and serve with the correct attitude
always remembering my position as a servant. I beg that my spiritual master
spares me a piece of your divine dhoti as I need it to hold onto, that’s my
only hope in this lifetime. I do not want anything Gurudeva, just to
eternally serve your lotus feet, please grant me this desire and accept my

Gurudeva, I would like to thank you for coming into my life. By your
wonderful mercy bestowed unto me I have grown stronger in my spiritual life.
By your mercy I have got to understand the spiritual Vedic books written by
our Acharya A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada like Bhagavad Gita, Srimad
Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrta. I now do a lot of services at our
Lenasia temple thanks to your divine love Your Grace gave to me.
Recently you came to South Africa for the Randburg Ratha Yatra where I was
fortunate to have Your Grace's association. You gave me the opportunity of a
lifetime to serve your lotus feet as you personal servant I sincerely thank
you from the bottom of my heart for this precious gift. Your Grace is the
personification of love and care. Your Grace has so much of love for your
disciples and other devotees which I find is an outstanding quality of your

Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
Although in my own small head I tend to think I am some advanced devotee, in
fact the reverse is true. In reality I am practically averse to devotional
service, only caring for my somewhat troublesome body and its temporary
needs. Yet out of your kindness I have been allowed to participate in this
Hare Krishna movement, whose essence is service.
On this day, September 17th 2010, here in Nashville we, Middle-Tennessee
ISKCON devotees are holding our normal Friday night Gita class at our house
in honor of your Vyasa Puja celebration. It is all of ours hope that we can
unitedly do some service in spreading (and maintaining) Krishna
Consciousness here or wherever we may be; praying for a humble service
attitude and the mercy of Guru and Krishna.
As this day also marks Krishna Priya and my wedding anniversary (eleven
years!) and the fact that my parents have never met the main group of
devotees from this area, I have invited them to join us for prasadam. They
are now eighty-seven and eighty-six years in age and I feel they could leave
at any time. So we are thankful they will also be celebrating your vyasa
puja in this way.
This past week-end we celebrated our thirteenth or fourteenth (I'm not sure)
annual twenty-four hour kirtan and interfaith dialogue. The interfaith
dialogue is moderated by His Holiness Hanumat Preshaka Swami and was very
enlivening. The topic for discussion amongst the representatives from
various faiths this year was marriage. It was one of the best topics yet.
Marriage is actually a big part of our devotional service. Helping each
other, rasing kids, working together through the thick and the thin, keeping
Krishna as the goal.
Radhika Ramana Prabhu (Dr. Ravi Gupta) and our GBC representative, who is
very expert in such issues, His Grace Tamohara Prabhu, as well as the other
members of the panel provided very nice discussion on this important topic.
Although life in general and married life within ISKCON in particular can
seem impossibly difficult at times, it appears that if we follow the process
we can one day achieve our goal.
Since in a large way I came to you as my initiating spiritual master through
marriage (i.e. although I had a bhajans cassette of yours, I had never heard
you talk prior to meeting my wife) I am very appreciative of the fact that
Srila Prabhupada immediately recognized your purity, spiritual strength and
peaceful nature and hence instructed you to avoid this whole marriage thing
from the outset. Srila Prabhupada surely did this so as to provide us, who
are mostly grihasthas, with the leadership we need. And you freely chose to
do this.
At this time I want to also thank you for the wonderful time we had this
year at the Vraj/New York retreat. Your association and the association we
received from all the wonderful devotees is still acting in a powerful way.
We are very grateful for this.

The first time I was introduced to you was when I came to Ujjain for
Prabhupada’s murti installation ceremony in 2006. At that time you so
mercifully inquired of our whereabouts and advised us to lead a life keeping
"Krishna" in the centre. Since that day I have been thinking how can I
follow your instruction and do it properly ? On my subsequent meetings you
had always encouraged us to associate with devotees and to read Prabhupada’s
books to understand ISKCON philosophy! All these meetings culminated into
your offering us to come over to Ujjain to serve in Radha Madan Mohan temple
leaving aside whatever mundane activities I was into then. I felt it was
Lord’s mercy on me, a God sent opportunity to serve you and I never looked
back.
Now, at this juncture, after spending over sixteen months and getting
initiated for a year and coming in direct contact with you while serving at
your lotus feet for some time, I feel myself to be very fortunate in this
life !! By attending your powerful discourses I have come to know various
scriptural injunctions, lives of mahajans, paramhamsa, how to develop
spiritually in our life, how to utilize my life in Krishna’s service and to
nurture "Vaisnava Sadachar" in our life and so on. The narrations on your
intimate associations with Founder Acharya of ISKCON Srila Prabhupada and
your glorification of monumental achievements of our so dear Srila
Prabhupada of spreading Krishna consciousness all over the world have been
nectarian to me. I feel at times so inadequate and the only ray of hope I
have to progress in spiritual life is to be totally dependent on your divine
mercy!!
While serving you over last one year or so, I have made so many mistakes,
committed many-an-unpardonable offenses in my e-mails to you, at times these
matters have upset you, you chastised me time to time but in the end you
always showered your blessings on me in abundance. I am like a cracked
pot, who has no qualification whatsoever but still by your mercy you could
engage me, in somewhat meaningful seva, which commensurate with my limited
intelligence and capability. I am now convinced that everything you have
been instructing is for my spiritual progress. You do everything so
perfectly !! When I observe your exemplary service to your Gurumaharaj , it
only makes me realize my own utter inadequacy in serving you, my dear
Gurumaharaj!!
I pray to the Lord and to Srila Prabhupada that I keep receiving your divine

Srila Gurudeva, your way of showering of mercy on the fallen souls is beyond
my perception. Upon meeting you for the first time I still remember your
sweet words " Devote your life to Krishna consciousness". That conversation
took place just for thirty seconds to one minute but it had a magnificent
impact on my life. Despite your health concerns you still travel all over
the world to preach what Srila Prabhupada taught you. You always ask us to
stay connected to Iskcon and that Srila Prabhupada should be the centre of
our movement. I promise you that I will never leave Iskcon and will always
serve you and ulimately Srila Prabhupada. I know that if I follow the
principles of devotional service you will take me to Srila Prabhupada's
lotus feet.
You are taking so much care of us through engaging us in various projects -

the family of amazing Brahma Sampradaya where Lord Gaurachandra himself
