Worship demonic

In a shop close to home I saw that you had deities of Krsna, Krsna and Balarama, Radha and Krsna, made in ceramics were many, does not pretend to be inauspicioso but worship is somewhat difficult, could be these people at any risk? Hare Krsna!!

    • My humble respects S. Balaji,

Krishna is the center of everything. Without Krishna, nothing exists. So, if I focus my heart and mind on Krishna alone. My activities would be dovetailed in behalf of Krishna. When I treat my patients, it is for Krishna. When I conduct meetings it is for Krishna. When I go to church with my family, it is for Krishna. When I vote for my candidates in elections, it is for Krishna. In short, it's Krishna, Krishna, Krishna. I know how you feel regarding these things, my friend. I was once like you. I recall Lord Nimai Pandit use to scold his devotees when He chants the names of Krishna's girlfriends, Krishna's beloved Radha. And why not chant the Hare Krishna mantra alone. That's fine. Posting Desiderata here means a lot to me. I enjoy it. I love it. I want to share this to every body here. We should I believe learn to tolerate. It's good calling my attention not to be carried away by maya. If this is what you feel. But always remember. That my Srila Prabhupada who is also yours was a very tolerant person. He tolerated the criticisms from his devotees. Even in the grave. Why His Divine Grace whom I dearly love did not choose a successor to lead ISKCON. Why? Please tell me why if you know the answer.

      Haribol always,

      Krsnaraja Melvin
    • Hare Krishna Prabhu,

In my opinion it would be nice if each post made here in this forum improves love for Krishna for the reader. Each and every word of Prabhupada books made sure that the reader would awaken the pure love for Krishna. Or in other words Krishna should be the center.

This is what my spiritual master has taught me.

  • jesusandkrsna1.jpgMany people often wonder what is the view of Lord Jesus Christ in the Krishna consciousness movement.

Srila Prabhupada, the foremost exponent of the Krishna
consciousness movement explains that Jesus is Krishna's representative, son of God, and spiritual master.

Below are excerpts from Srila Prabhupada's books, lectures, and conversations about Jesus Christ and his
    relationship with Krsna.

"If one loves Krishna, he must love Lord Jesus also. And if one perfectly loves Jesus he must love Krishna too. If he says, "Why shall I love Krishna? I shall love Jesus," then he has no knowledge. And if one says, "Why shall I love Jesus? I shall love Krishna", then he has no knowledge either. If one understands Krishna, then he will understand Jesus. If one understands Jesus, you'll understand Krishna too"
(Srila Prabhupada - Room conversation with Allen Ginsberg, May 12, 1969 / Columbus - Ohio)

Thank you Dr. Melvin prabhu. I appreciate. Decency is seen as weakness most of the times in our society. Still, the decent will strive to remain decent at all times and not react to provocations.

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

Lord Krsna can be worshipped with Lord Balarama (as in Vrindavan temple) or with Srimati Radharani (as in most temples) or with Srimati Rukmini (I think Sri Londoniswara), or with a cow (some old temples have this form of the lord). Worship of KRsna in any form is auspicious prabhuji. If you are asking whether ceramic deities are authorised, as per scriptures - no. Deities can be picture, clay, metal, in the mind, sand, stone, ... 2 more - 8 things are authorised. Ceramics is not in the list. You can always keep ceramic deities in the house as show pieces and not as installed in the altar. Good for gifting also.

        Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

THis is in very bad taste. Aapko agar koi machar, paagal bolega to aapko kaisa lagega? And waht is this id name - how would you feel if someone treats you like this?

My request to both Dr. Melvin and Satish prabhu - please refrain from passing personal comments here. This is a forum where we are trying to address people's queries related to Krsna  and help them progress on their path towards the lord. Please do not convert this into a regular facebook or any other website where we take the advantage of anonymity and blaspheme each other. This is not the purpose of this site.

If you have any love for Krsna or any respect for me, please keep your comments to the query on hand. Only by mutual respect can we do our service to please Krsna.

Just think - this act of yours (both of you) - is it pleasing to Krsna? Do you think He will be attracted to petty squabbles between souls who profess to be in love with Him? Isnt this the onslaught of maya, right here, in this forum?

I am disappointed Satish prabhu. One person can spoil the entire environment - I can see the live example now.

Pls refrain from blaspheming other devotees or passing derogatory comments.

Politeness is a virtue that takes us closer to vaishnavas, consequently Krsna.

I know you are not upto it - any other person, I would have requested to apologise.
