Hare Krishna !
Dandavats to all the great devotees of the Lord.
We Iskconites are the only people who are not seriously praying for the welfare of others.
HAre Krishna Prabhus and Mathaji's, we all claim to be pure devotees of the Lord and yet turn a blind eye to the suffering of others. We should strive to take care of others.
Afterall we all claim to be vaishnavites and don't try to live by the true spirit of a Vaishanava, ( Atleast I don't)
According to Narasinh Mehta's Bhajan VAishnava Janato :-
"One who is a true devotee of Krishna ( Vaishnava)
So, We should all chant, Hare Krishna Maha mantra by making a resolve.
Their's no other way to educate/lift, or wake up the *eternal God chonchusness that is present in all souls eternally.
Hare KRsna Prabhuji,
Where did you get this idea from that ISKCON people don't pray for anyone? We are forever praying for everyone around, for any and every natural and unnatural calamity that occurs around us, even in the news if we hear. The only difference is - our prayers are chanting the mahamantra and doing haribol.
Yesterday, you have been part of praying in chat - when everyone was chanting mahamantra once for one devotee.
The most powerful of medicines for all diseases, material and spiritual is the mahamantra. We distribute books, which is making devotees. We distribute prasadam, which is spreading the mercy of the lord and making devotees. We distribute harinaam through nagar sankirtan, again so many people are attracted and their hearts melt.
Our philosophy is itself saying - Vaishnava is one who is para dukkha dukhi - sad at the sorry plight of others.
Where did you get this idea from prabhuji?
There is no flaw in our philosophy. Application of the philosophy depends on individual sadhaka.
