    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

Pandavas were in Dwapara Yuga. As per that age, a Ksatriya cannot refuse a gambling match or a war. They were not allowed to run away from either of the two.

There is a very interesting whatsapp forward which keeps circulating - Uddhava is asking Krsna why He left the pandavas at the time of the gambling match and why He didnt assist them at that time. He replies that Duryodhana invited them for a gambling match, but knowing his own limitations, handed the dice to his uncle Shakuni. So effectively Shakuni won the match for Duryodhana. Whereas the Pandavas did not invite Krsna to come to their side at that time. They decided to play the match themselves. Only when Draupadi remembers Krsna, He comes running and saves her honour. It is a lesson on "Always remember Krsna, never forget Krsna". As a result, they suffered the consequences.

I hope I have been able to explain.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD

  • Pandavas are born to play their role, assisting the Lord in His mission.

The gambling of King Yudhisthira was arranged by Lord, otherwise pandavas would not left their kingdom,

and the battle on Kurukshetra wound not happened, therefore Lords mission would not be accomplished.

  • They suffer the consequences as well ...

The Pāṇḍavas and Draupadī went to exile, after losing their empire in gambling.
