  • Hare Krishna dear Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Shri Guru and Gaurang!

Our mind is restless and always keep planning. It is very easy to develop some degree of attachment to our planned objectives. But our real Goals and aspirations (which Krishna understands residing in our heart) may require our polishing. Our real Goals and aspirations may be difficult to come by the way we have planned, because plans at mental level are defective. Therefore Krishna may put us in some hardships but he is always there protecting us in those testing times. Ultimately if we continue to struggle for the right cause, Krishna will make us land in such a situation which we may not have planned but which is most ideally situated to achieve our hidden aspirations if those aspirations are for the welfare of all.

Pandavas were put to so much hardships right from their childhood by the ill-motivated Duryodhana and associates. Pandavas had to undergo so much humiliation at that Gambling match and then 14 years in exile. But Krishna was all along with them helping them. They never complained that despite being KC why r we suffering. But their suffering contributed so much to humanity. e.g. "Not to Gamble" has become a regulative principle.

So Krishna may make us suffer to polish us, to bring us to such understanding wherein we can actually do what we really want to do (if that Goal is Krishna Conscious).

Hare Krishna dear Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Life after life Krishna wants to teach us for main 4 things:

to be humble than a blade of grass

    tolerant than a tree

    respect everyone

and not to wait for respect to ourselves.

It is the key for entering into Vrindavan mood and becoming free from all sufferings.

When situations are really difficult we pray to Krishna but sometimes we are blind to see how Krishna is already helping us. Maybe that suffering is the help. Maybe that suffering was decreased in amount and we get only few reactions of our bad karma. Who knows?

When we serve to Krishna He never ever will leave us. He wishes to us only the best thing. For example, when my brother was a kid he used dislike to take bath. He was afraid of water.

But even though my mom used forcibly wash his body. He used to scream, cry, or even slightly hurt my mom by pinching her hands...(what we foolish kids do sometimes...)

In this way sometimes Krishna gives His mercy by forcible putting us into difficult situations. Even though we may ask for relief but He knows when to come and when not to help.

He is not our servant, as nicely was told here.

He is not someone who should fulfill our orders urgently. NO! He is called as Govinda and it does not mean that He is supposed to satisfy our need. NO.

When we become humble and accept our insignificant situation and that time sincerely pray He will come.

He only wants to remove from us PRIDE, LUST, ILLUSION, GREED, FALSE EGO...

    ---------------

Even Advaita Acharya used to pray for many many years begging Krishna to descend to this world. He used to offer Tulasi leaves, Ganges water and loudly cry, cry weep in humility calling for His Name.

Then who we are in order to say that Krishna should come urgently?

He is atmarama. He does not need anything. He is self satisfied. He is independent. He has unlimited quantity of servant. Very dedicated servants.

    ....

Krishna is not our servant, we are HIS servant. You can request Krishna nicely, but we shouldn't make a big deal outta it if Krishna did not help us.

We have to suffer to pay off our karma but Krishna being so generous minimizes the suffering, if you serve him nicely, etc, we cannot then say, Krishna should have helped us more, or even what you are asking - that's improper.

By sincerely practicing the joyful process of  Bhakti-yoga ( devotional service) , we align ourselves with the supreme God , Bhagavan Sri  Krishna. The more we take steps toward trusting Krishna to be our maintainer and guardian, the more we will see how everything that happens in our life is designed to transform our consciousness from material to spiritual. Krishna expertly arranges events in Devotees' lives to help them give up their attachments to ephemeral matter and attach themselves to eternal spiritHe helps us correct our perceptual distortions and distinguish the eternal self from the temporary body.

A devotee who lost her infant was able to contemplate the possibility that her child had practiced Krishna-bhakti in his previous life and needed to spend only a little more time in this life before going to KrishnaShe also extracted many important lessons about her own spiritual lifeBeing in so much distress over the loss, she took more and more shelter of her spiritual practices and felt that Sri Krishna intensified her desire to become more serious about making spiritual progress in this lifetimeThe more intense her chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra became, the more she was convinced that Krishna was her only true shelter and source of happiness.

In an amazing panorama of events going on simultaneously, Krishna is purifying the hearts of all those who endeavor to reunite with HimThose of us pursuing our spiritual lives under Krishna's divine  guidance, in a society of  likeminded people, should always strive to remind one another of Krishna's unwavering eternal love for each of us. In this way we will know that for our unique circumstance, Krishna perfectly orchestrates whatever situation we find ourselves in. Life can be compared to a big classroom, replete with lessons and examsOur freedom in the human form of life lies in how we use our timeA syllabus alerts students to exam dates and projects, but it is up to them to use their free time to studySimilarly, we have to use our free time to practice our spiritual life so that we will be prepared for the exams that come—the final test being the time of death.

Strong spiritual practices, such as chanting `japa' and hearing from spiritually advanced devotees, will help us embrace each situation with the attitude that everything Bhagavan Krishna  does is for my highest goodThis will help us make rapid spiritual advancementUnder Krishna's care, there is no bad, only good.

Lord Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita 18.58

If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost.

The happiest person on earth isn't always happy. In fact, the happiest people all have their fair share of low moods, problems and disappointments. Often the difference between a person who is happy and someone who is unhappy is not how often they get low, or even how low they drop, but instead, it's what they do with their low moods.

Many people take their low moods very seriously and try to figure out and analyze what's wrong. They try to force themselves out of their low state, which tends to compound the problem rather than solve it.

Intelligent people understand that both positive and negative feelings come and go, and that there will come a time when they won't be feeling so good.

So, when they are feeling depressed, angry, or stressed out, they relate to these feelings with the same openness and wisdom. Rather than fight their feelings and panic simply because they are feeling bad, they accept their feelings, knowing that this too shall pass.

Rather than stumbling and fighting against their negative feelings, they are graceful in their acceptance of them. This allows them to come gently and gracefully out of negative feeling states into more positive states of mind.

The next time you're feeling bad, rather than fight it, try to relax. See if, instead of panicking, you can be graceful and calm. Know that if you don't fight your negative feelings, if you are graceful, they will pass away.
