Why is this world a very strange place?

I think this is an interesting and very profound discussion topic.

Maybe it could be that how things in spiritual world are just completly different in this world. For example, love of godhead is converted into lust by engagement with the illusory energy. How envy which is portraited very beautifully in lilas of krishna becomes hedious in this world.

It could also be the strange behaviour of people. Like yudhistir maharaj tells as how even after seeing the people around him die , a man thinks he will never die , that whatever he possess will always remain his own.

Or how it is described that it is so strange that people have always got the tounge with them everytime and everywhere and the names of lord Krishna are also available everywhere AND chanting just once the holy name of the lord , one never has to have any altercation with yama, YET people are going to hell.

In many ways this world is strange.
