I think acceptance is a huge part of it, but timing alone is not the whole story. In my view, when someone has spent years or even lifetimes developing sincerity, humility, and faith, a moment of genuine realization can appear to happen instantly from the outside. Maharaja Khatvanga's example reminds me that spiritual progress is not always measured by time, but by how completely one turns toward Krishna when the opportunity comes.

The opportunity is not guaranteed in some distant future but it is here ' now. '
That realization is needed.

Hare Krsna
Yes! It all depends upon the depth of our surrender unto Lord Sri Krsna.
Divine life begins when one has lost all inclinations for material sense gratification, although the desires remain. Because one remains satisfied in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, one can remain steady like the ocean, and therefore enjoy full peace.
