  • Hare Krishna Prabhu ji,

It refers to that you should take the mercy of Lord or grace of Lord in the form of prasadam.

Pls. take the mercy of Lord the blessings of Lord-- prasadam "पाइये"

yahan khane ka importance nahi hai.. ..prasdam is not for pait pooja.  Prasadam has the blessings of Lord that we have to take. It means that.

See, we find greedy foodies also who say wow prasadam is tasty and ask 2 or 3 servings also.

Prasadam even if u get one morsel or one grain of it also it has the same grace and blessing as taking 2-3 servings, right?

so its the grace that needs to be taken.

aah this reminded me of  story

One time Lord was having his food in Vaikunta and Mata Laxmi was serving Lord. and it was almost over. nothing was left in the plate. Narad muni came there seeing the plate.. said aww.. thanks to Lord and says Oh Lord how merciful,  You have left me a grain as prasadam. I am so happy and he started to dance in ecstasy picking up the morself of rice he was singing dancing forgetting the surroundings.. then  Lord Shiva met him and asked what was the reason his ecstasy. Narad muni says I recived Prasadam of Lord. It is so valubale and Lord Shiva asked pls. pls. pls. give a piece of that rice morsel. Let me also enjoy that nasha which you are enjoying. Then both started to each the small piece of the grain and started to dance. There came Parvati ji she asked why are you both dancing in ecstasy? they both say we got the pasadam of Lord. Parvati ji got angry that she didn't get a share. She went to Vaikuntam and pleaded to Lord Sri Hari. This isn't fair How can you not give ur prasdam to Me and my kids? Lord said Oh yes, I shall grant you and you all kids also my prasadam. Parvati ji said Oh thats nice. My kids are not only Vinakaya and Kumara Swami. My kids are whole jiva koti in mortal world. Thanks you giving ur merciful prasadam to all my kids. That is how Lord Jagannatha Prasadam came to Earth from that day onwards thru the mercy of Parvati devi. It is said that after Naivedya offering to Lord in Puri Jagannnatha temple. first the prasdam goes directly to Bimla devi and from her to all the devotees.

    Hare krishna.

    • Thank u so much mataji for the clarification. The katha which u wrote is amazing. Hare Krishna
