" Bramachari life is easy and family life is safe. "
Brahmcari is not goal of life but it's means to achieve Love of Sri Krishna.
It's Big topic. But still i salute those who are trying for Brahamcari even though struggling but should not be a mithyachari.
Best is that you can go through " Brahmacari in KC" book by His Holiness Bhakti Vikasa Swami.
Jai Srila Prabhupada
hare krishna prabhuji. dandvat pranam.
lord chaitnya said " i dont want to be brahmachari.also i dont want to be grihstha or sanyasi.i just want to be the servant of servant of servant of lord krishna"
in this way lord chaitnya rejected all ashrama and desired to be dasanu dasanu das.
here lord chaitnya is teaching "how should be the attitude of a devotee"
so a devotee is suppose to have such attitude to perform devotion.

thank u so much for ur informatic replys....
in the Gajendra Moksa lila section of Srimad Bhagavatam. There Srila Prabhupada clearly explains that the reason the king of elephants was being defeated by the crocodile is because the crocodile was in its natural element, namely the water, whereas the elephant was in an unnatural element. As a result the crocodile was becoming stronger, and the elephant was becoming weaker. Bearing this comparison in mind, Srila Prabhupada explains in his purport to this lila that the person in the grhastha ashram may find himself in a more natural element for making spiritual progress than he would if he tried to maintain himself artificially in the brahmacari ashram. There is an underlying assumption in your question, i.e. you seem to indicate that grhastha ashram compels one to remain in samsara sagara. This is not necessarily so. To the contrary, we find that many stalwart acaryas were grhasthas, while many were also brahmacari and sannyasi. The same can be said for those who are mahajans, identified by Prahlad Maharaj in the Seventh Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. Some of them are brahmacaris like Narada, and some of them are grhasthas. Attaining perfection is not dependent upon what particular ashram one finds oneself in. Rather, perfection comes from full dedication in devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. If one properly accepts the responsibilities of grhastha ashram, one can make one's life perfect and go back home back to Godhead, every bit as much as one who does the same in the position of brahmacari. One who lives one's life properly in the grhastha ashram will likely find himself to be a good candidate for sannyasa life, later on..

HHRNSM said in one lecture grihasthas like Prahlad mahraj, Dhruv Mahraj were blessed by their spiritual master to have the consciousness of " AKINCHANA GOCHARA" - Nothing is mine..
Hare Krsna Vinay p
humble obeisances
such a wonderful question....
Regarding this HHRNSM gave a wonderful lecture.. He was telling about the same point.. why people marry and all. Yes , it is true that those who join, they know the philosophy so well and are convinced that samsara sagar is full of suffering and deep..
but HHRNSM was saying IT IS TRUE THAT WE ARE NOT THIS BODY BUT WE ARE IN THIS BODY AND hence there conditioning.. Every one who joins celibate ashram not necessarily may be able to continue in that ashram and one should still respect that person as a very elevated devotee cuz it is very difficult even to take the decision to join celibate ashram...
" grihe thako, vane thako, sada ‘hari’ bole’ dako,
sukhe duhkhe bhulo na’ko, vadane hari-nam koro re"
by Bhakti Vinod Thakur...
The purpose of all ashrams is to DEVELOP LOVE FOR KRSNA... AND SERVE DEVOTEES AND KRSNA and know that one is not the doer, that ego" me and my" should not be there... If one is doing this wherever one is ,HE IS DOING WHAT HE SHOULD DO..CHANT KRSNA'S NAME ALWAYS, WHEREVER YOU ARE... REMEMBER KRSNA ALWAYS , NEVER FORGET KRSNA.. THIS IS THE PURPOSE OF ALL ASHRAMS..
IF YOU CAN DO THIS IN CELIBATE ASHRAM, WELL AND GOOD, IF YOU CAN DO THIS IN GRIHASTHA ASHRAM.. WELL AND GOOD.. PURPOSE IS THE SAME.. RASGULLA AND JILEBI BOTH ARE SWEET, SOME PEOPLE LIKE RASGULLA, SOME PEOPLE LIKE JILEBI.. IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON WHAT HE LIKES :) :) ... IT DEPENDS ON THE PSYCHO PHYSICAL NATURE OF A PERSON WHICH ASHRAM HE IS SUITED FOR .. A CELIBATE BY NATURE WILL NOT BE HAPPY IN GRIHASTHA ASHRAM AND A GRIHASTHA BY NATURE WILL NOT BE HAPPY IN CELIBATE ASHRAM..... IT COMES GRADUALLY WITH TIME THAT THE PERSON COMES TO KNOW WHAT HE IS SUITED FOR. AND SERVES KRSNA AND DEVOTEES ACCORDINGLY.. IF YOU WANT , I CAN GIVE YOU DETAILS HOW ONE COMES TO KNOW..... ONCE A PERSON BECOMES A DEVOTEE, MAYA DEVI STARTS HER TESTING AND MAKES THE PERSON UNDERGO THOROUGH TESTS.. SO THEY ARE IN THE BATTLE FIELD..

Hare Krishna Vinay Kalson Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances!
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
To be seen as like a renounced wearing saffron does not mean that person is guaranteed to enter Goloka. No. And it does not mean that those who are grihastha - brahmacharis (family people who follow 4 regulative principles) have not right to enter to Goloka Vrindavan.
If it is so then what about matajis? Srila Prabhupada says that ladies should be married so does it mean that ladies are not allowed to achieve the goal of life - love for Krishna?!
No.
Arjuna - pure Devotee was in grihastha ashram, Yudhishtra Maharaja, Janaka Maharaj, Kardama Muni, ....
In Vedic system of life there are 4 stages of ashrams: brahmachari, grihastha, vanaprastha, sannyasa.
Brahmachari while studying wears saffron informing that for this moment i need to study and be far from opposite sex. When he completes his education, nearly at 25 decides to change his ashram or stay in it further. When he desires to change then he changes his cloth also wearing white. And it is not a fall down as usually in India people think.
But if sannyasa does that it is a fall down not for a young brahmachari.
One should see in which ashram his mind is peaceful. If being in brahmachari ashram one only thinks of opposite sex then better to change the ashram and take responsibility of family life. In this way achieve love for Krishna.
Family life is not easy, it is true but there are difficulties even in brahmachari life. Because this world is full of difficulties.
But if one is austere and does not have desire of association of opposite sex then he can stay easily in brahmachari ashram.
Your servant,
Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Dandavat Pranam. All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Progress in Bhakti is independent of any circumstances and Ashram . Brahmachari (Celibate Student life) Ashram , which is the first in four orders of the four varna and Ashrama that gives a conducive environment to practice Bhakti much smoothly than any other Ashrama BUT in no way give gurantee that all who take to Brahmachari Ashrama will progress much than a person who is living a grihastha life Because it also depends on the consciousness of the sadhaka.
Suppose One may joined Brahmachari Ashram by seeing the externals of Krishna consciousness and somehow with a escape mentality then it may happen that he is carrying the desire to enjoy outside world within heart but superficially performing Bhakti to make happy his counselor and Guru . Then what happen is if he doesn't enjoy Brahmachari life eventually he will fall down . But at the same time if one enters Grihasta life with the notion to enjoy material life eventually after satisfying all the desires what he had will be frustrated and then he will take Krishna Consciousness very seriously and will progress much rapidly than a Brahmachari who internally carry desires but externally practice Krishna Consciousness.
And also sometimes we see lethargy in devotees to work in material world and a escape mentality, but that doesn't help. Struggle is everywhere Even if one join Brahmachari Ashrams there is lot of Struggle Physically and Mentally. It is not that after joining as a Brahmachari life will be a bed of rose NOOO . If one enters with resting mentality in Brahmachari ashrama he will surely become frustrated in few days.
All fingers are not of same size similarly all people are not same. Different medicine works for different people. Not everyone can take to life long Brahmachari life and not everyone can be a elevated devotee if he joins Brahmachari Ashrama. We have to be honest to ourself and analyze ourself to see where we fit better and where we can do better sadhana.
In our paramapara and also if we see most of the saints of India they were all entered into grihastha Ashrama and then later on took sannasya. Grihastha Ashrama is kept by God thus a person can able to take responsibility of others and expand his consciousness. If one can remain Brhamachari that is good but if his Bhakti is hampered for desire of family then he must take Grihastha Ashrama and practice Bhakti without any confusion.
Hope this will help.
