Why did krishna did not give me a job in Vrindavan

Hare Krishna, dandwat Pranam!

I'm reaching out with a heart heavy with sadness and confusion. Recently, both my dear friend and I, fresh B.Tech CSE graduates of 2024, applied for the website developer position at Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. I eagerly told my friend about the opening, hoping we could embark on this spiritual journey together.

But the twist of fate left me shattered—I didn't make it through while my friend did and eventually he got vrindavan dham vaas. It's agonizing, especially because I poured my heart into bhakti, dedicating countless hours to spiritual practices, hoping for this divine opportunity. What baffles me is that my friend, who isn't as deeply involved in spiritual pursuits and even consumes non-vegetarian food, secured the position that I yearned for.

Krishna's ways are beyond my comprehension right now. I feel lost, hurt, and wonder why my sincere dedication wasn't enough. Can you help me understand why this happened and how to reconcile this pain with my faith and devotion?

Your devotion is to KRsna, the purpose is to get Krsna prem, not a coveted job in Vrndavan. Be focused on what is your goal in Krsna Consciousness and the rest will follow.

The lord's ways are mysterious. Maybe your friend got the role so that he can become more firmed up. Maybe there is a better job waiting for you. Maybe staying in dham, if any error or mistake happens, the result of that is also multi fold. So maybe the lord knows what is there in the future or your heart very clearly. Thats why He saved you from this dham aparadh. Maybe maybe maybe.... the possibilities are endless. Instead of getting into mental speculation about why you didnt get that job, please utilise your energies into how to do better devotion by saying "Lord I accept" and carrying on with your sadhana, at the same time look for another job.

Just for your information, Vrndavan Chandrodaya Mandit is not under ISKCON, it is of Hare Krsna movement. Does that answer your doubt somewhat?

  Thank you so much for your lovely words.Yes you are absolutely right.Also to serve in the temple with the intention of getting monetary benifit i guess grishastas are meant to support thr tempple right?
