the main problem is we should not stand backside to the Deities.
We cannot enter into Altar and then take images with the Deity but can stand in front of Them. So that is not good.
It is an offense to some extent.
And we are worshiping Deities to understand that we are not this body but a soul. So why to be so focused on our bodies rather than meditating on Deity?!
