Hare Krsna

" In Bhagavata-dharma there is no question of " what you believe " or " what I believe ". Everyone must believe in the Supreme Lord and carry out His orders. Whatever God says- should be directly carried out. That is dharma, religion.
If one advocates the Hindu religion, the Muslim religion, the Christian religion, this religion or that religion, there will be conflicts. History shows that the followers of religious systems without a clear conception of God have fought with one another.
Therefore, one must give up the idea of " my belief " and " your belief ". Everyone should believe in God and surrender unto Him. That is Bhagavata-dharma. "

  • I am still waiting for your list of commons in all these religions

one thing is that I am seeing all these religions chirstians, muslims, sikhs are using one word for Lord that is Rab. That has no meaning in Sanskrit.

We have Vishnu's thousand names and Rab I didn't find.

But still we can think all PEOPLE ARE MADE BY ONE GOD So that God must have some nick names Like Rab, allah, Yehewa..etc. Jitne basha utne names..Vishnu has infinite names.. . .. it is cool. Rab or rabbit. I wish to call Krishna Kala Rabbit ..laughing Kala Kitty se Kala Rab.

ab batao aur kya kya similarities hai?

    • Hare Krishna Mataji

In the Guru Granth Sahib ji the word  'Rab' for God is not used.

      Gopal is used.

      Govinda is there.

      Keshav is there.

      Madhava is there.

      Hari is there.

      Madhusudhan is there.

Besides many other prominent names of Lord Krsna.

But you are right in the sense that a lot of Punjabis do Rabba Rabba.

They even made a movie Rab ne bana di Jodi.

These are the people who have never made an effort to systematically study from the Guru Granth Sahib ji.

That is why I don't want to discuss the so called followers of any religion.

It is the case with every religion, we judge a religion based on the followers of a particular religion without knowing the facts.

      Hari Bol

      • I didn't find any of these names in Quran and even in Bible.

Not even one name mentioned in these scriptures.

THOUGH THESE Religions sprang up much much later after Krishna.

Why couldn't they even mention one name of Krishna. Atleast Sikh religious text book mentions Krishna rama names.

        • Yes Mataji

These religions Christianity, Islam sprang up from the middle east.

Their characters Abraham, Moses, Issac and finally Jesus are common to both the Bible and Quran. You won't find a mention of them in the original Puranas and likewise there is no mention of devotees like Prahlada Maharaja and Dhruva Maharaja in their texts.

          This is the difficulty.

          • These are all made up religions and have no basis in puranas. Except some bhavishya purana has mention of mohammed.

            • As far as I know Srila Prabhupada has never mentioned the Bhavisya Purana in writing.

              • Which  this  Dr. zakir keeps exaggarating and speaking about  in many videos. Funny chap finds some  words in  vedas and quotes saying mohamad is seen in vedas and quran is  great because hindu vedas has mention of it.  They take basis from hindu texts to support their texts. So, fact is oldest of all and basis for all religions is Santhan dharma. So all must quit other religions and accept sanathan dharma
          • That is  why these religious texts and religion is incomplete. They  don't know who is God. Nameless formless Rab.laughing

just like when Vyas muni wrote other puranas  he felt tasteless ... until he descibed  about Sri Krishna he felt incomplete. So also all these texts. Of other religions who has no description of Lord's leela are of least vlaue.

            • what the fun of starting a new religion with krishna and rama names in their texts of sikh?? Is there a need to stadt another religion??

              • Hare Krishna Mataji

                It wasn't for fun.

The Daivi varnasrama had detiorated into the hereditary caste system.  So much so that great saints like Naamdev ji, Kabir ji or Ravidas ji who apparently came from lower birth were discriminated against for this reason only.

Not to mention the onslaught of Mughal invasions created a great temporal need to preserve the spiritual culture of Hindustan and the life and property of the citizens.

We should be careful to comment on something that has happened by the will of the Lord. Without His sanction nothing is possible!
