Greetings all,
I am a regular reader on IDT. Lately, there have been many posts about the name of Shri Rama, how to yogically chant His name (through asan & mystical chakric vibration) and His Supremacy.
The posters are almost exclusively quoting Kabirdas ji and other poetic translations of scripture. It reads a lot different than any Iskcon literature that I have ever seen in my 27 years in association with Prabhupada's movement.
I would not mention this, but the discussion boards have been full of these Raam discussions, and I'm kind-a missing krsna-kata (talks about krishna).
Who is Kabirdas ji. Is he part of a Vedic sampradaya? In what way do his devotees associate with ISKCON? If a person believes Vishnu is supreme and that Krishna is one of Vishnu's dependent incarnations, how is an Isckon devotee to engage in that dialogue?
I know that in India, many believe one Name of God is superior to another and there is some disagreement who is Adi Purusham. How should devotees of Iskcon preach in this situation?

Jaya Rahul Prabhu,
Well, you're right. Kabir is considered God by his followers. I'm a little dissapointed, I thought they worshiped Lord Ramachandra, and were different from ISKCON like a Methodist might differ from a Lutheran. You know, same basic belief, just a different emphasis.
Thanks for the , link.. it was very helpful; more than just a historical biography.
