Hare Krishna Prasad Prabhu in the age of kali all are prohibited from taking sannyasa.Sannyasa is in the varnasrama system.Since,the system is extinct there is no question of sannyasa.Now sense enjoyers are in the garb of sannyasis with no qualification whatsoever.
Sannyasa comes from words sam and nyasa.Sam means self and nyasa means giving or surrendering.So,a sannyasi is one who gives the self to Lord Krsna.Giving self means mind,words,and body in service of Krsna.If u only talk of Krsna think of Krsna and work for Krsna and give whatever you posess in service of Krsna it is called true sannyasa.If you do so there is no need to take sannyasa.Great devotees of Lord sometimes take sannyasa to spread the holy name of God,to preach Krsna consciousness.But,if someone takes sannyasa but doesn't use everything in service of God he is a pretender.(not given self to Krsna).
So,u should stay wherever u are.There is no need to change position and try to follow the instructions of Caitanya Mahaprabhu and thus surprass everything and you will be perfect.
