    PAMHO.

    Any and every shloka of Gita is so powerful, that if one meditates on any one shloka, and understands the meaning, then tries to imbibe in one's life, that is a successful life.

    To answer you one by one, I will pick up 2.14 - Matra sparshastu kaunteya.....

    Briefly, it means that one should not be very affected by pain or pleasure, they come and go like changing seasons. One should learn to tolerate.

    THis verse has helped me in all times, whether good or bad. I always try to remember, both in case of extreme happiness, as well in times of extreme distress, matra sparshastu.... it just touches us and goes - in the vast expanse of time and the number of lifetimes we lead, it is nothing. This too shall pass.
