Which is our Real body

Hare Krishna Prabhu ji's and Mata ji's

PAMHO!!!!

I Have one doubt, and I will be very much obliged if I can get the counseling from you all advanced devotees.

Its regarding our real self/body..Which is our real body? I still have small doubt regaring our real self, in this material world this is our temporary body, if we go to hell there we have different temporary body, in heaven we would have different body, and if we come in contact with lord then also we will have a temp body beacuse lord can take that body anytime if he desires so and through us on earth again and if we want to merge into the Brahman and exist in a spiritual vacuum, floating in an eternal sky without any form or activities or feelings then there I think that will be our real self with no body without any form, without any feeling, safely we can be there with no falling back again. I am sorry I might sound very wierd but please i would like my this doubt to get clear.

Your humble servant.

Amit Mehra

      • I am sorry prabhu you have misunderstood

the individual jivas soul is LIMITED the supreme soul is unlimited

that is the difference from the supreme soul

        http://vaniquotes.org/wiki/The_measurement_of_the_soul_is_stated_in...

        here are many references

        BG Chapters 7 - 12

The living entity is one ten-thousandth part of the tip of a hair, but the Lord is so inconceivably small that He enters into the heart of this particle. Therefore He is called smaller than the smallest.
        BG 8.9, Purport

The Lord is kavi; that is, He knows past, present and future and therefore knows everything. He is the oldest personality because He is the origin of everything; everything is born out of Him. He is also the supreme controller of the universe, and He is the maintainer and instructor of humanity. He is smaller than the smallest. The living entity is one ten-thousandth part of the tip of a hair, but the Lord is so inconceivably small that He enters into the heart of this particle. Therefore He is called smaller than the smallest. As the Supreme, He can enter into the atom and into the heart of the smallest and control him as the Supersoul. Although so small, He is still all-pervading and is maintaining everything.

    tataḥ sūkṣmataraṁ jyotiḥ
     kṛṣṇam āviśad adbhutam
    paśyatāṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
     yathā caidya-vadhe nṛpa
    Word for word:
tataḥ — then; sūkṣma-taram — very subtle; jyotiḥ — a light; kṛṣṇam — Lord Kṛṣṇa; āviśat — entered; adbhutam — amazing; paśyatām — as they watched; sarva — all; bhūtānām — living beings; yathā — just as; caidya-vadhe — when Śiśupāla was killed; nṛpa — O King (Parīkṣit).
    Translation:
A most subtle and wondrous spark of light then [rose from the demon’s body and] entered Lord Kṛṣṇa while everyone looked on, O King, just as when Śiśupāla was killed.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But from the transcendental perspective of realized sages, both kinds of material covering are insubstantial. By logically eliminating all material identities, which are misconceptions based on the soul’s gross and subtle coverings, a thoughtful person can determine that the soul is nothing material. Rather, he is a pure spark of divine spirit, a servant of the Supreme Godhead. ( the part of commentary of Srila Prabhupada on SB.10.87.20 )

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

We are not the body - we are the soul that lives in the body. As you rightly pointed out, we get different types of body at different times, based on our own karma.

Material world - there are 84 lakhs types of bodies. Soul also has a spiritual body - that is our eternal body.

<if we come in contact with lord then also we will have a temp body beacuse lord can take that body anytime if he desires so and through us on earth again and if we want to merge into the Brahman and exist in a spiritual vacuum, floating in an eternal sky without any form or activities or feelings then there I think that will be our real self with no body without any form, without any feeling, safely we can be there with no falling back again.>

This part is factually incorrect - lord will not throw us back on earth as per His wish - its always our wish. From what I have heard in the lectures, its a one time exit from material world. This material world is a jail - there is no concept of repeat offender. Once we desired to enjoy without the lord and came here to get punished. After we return, we do not have to come back. That time, we will have the memory of how painful this material world is - and we will not desire again. Of course, we may come back to serve the mission of the lord - that is different.

REgarding Brahmajyoti, it is not eternal existence into void - after a long time in Brahmajyoti, one will eventually fall back into the material world - because there is no way to go to spiritual world from Brahmajyoti.

I hope I have been able to clarify - if there are still doubts, pls ask.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD
