One of IDT's most powerful pages is this beloved Discussion page where people get together and answer and ask questions to stimulate discussion. While I have enjoyed and found new friends from each and every discussion, I sometimes feel that there is a lack of participation, and this could very well be because people don't want to answer questions in fear of them being wrong (you're not alone, I've been there and I've done that too)...

So I figured, it would be nice to have a discussion that everyone can partake in and what's better than to read about Krsna's infinite and exquisite pastimes with the Gopas, Gopis, and of course the mothers of Vrindavana...

Of course we all have many pastimes that are very dear to us, so feel free to post them all. If a particular pastime is rather "secretive" do post the story so we can all share in that love and ecstasy for Krsna that you felt from that particular pastime

So enough talking and reading let's begin.

Krsna:

There are so many leelas of Krsna which are all so sweet, but I really admire Krsna incarnating himself as all those cowherd boys and calves when Brahma took them to BrahmaLoka. It shows Krsna power of course, but it shows how graceful and benevolent he is to the mothers of Vrindavan who all wanted a darling Krsna as their child too :) My favorite part is that even Lord Balarama questions this new found affection everyone has for their child. Very beautiful

Balarama:

I love the Dhenukasur episode, where Krsna, Balarama, and the cowherd boys go to the Talavana Forest to eat some delicious fruits and protect their cows/calves. Krsna of course toys with Dhenukasure, but then Dhenukasur arrogantly kicks Lord Balarama on the chest who immediately becomes angry and instantly throws Dhenukasur on top of a palm tree. I don't know why I have a particular liking to this specific pastime but I just do :D

    Lakshman:
When Mother Sita told: "...oh maybe you wanted to enjoy Me in the absence of Ram..." Lakshman became ashamed and told that he never ever looked at Her face even, only to Her feet.
    So glorious such like Man!
Consider other's wives as their Mothers and sisters.
And God is a perfect example Himself.

Oh that is a beautiful pastime. One can almost imagine Lord Balarama's reaction when He finds out the His darling little brother Krsna went out alone to kidnap Rukmini. It must have been dreamy to be living alongside Lord Krsna and Lord Balarama 5000 years ago or even Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda 500 years ago... or even Srila Prabhupada a little less than 50 years ago.

i like the continuation of that Brahma Vimohan Lila. Especially the place where Lord Brahma understanding his mistake rolled on the ground of Vrindavan and shed tears begging little Gopal to forgive him. But he never heard the answer...which made him to cry more. And later he took birth as Srila Haridas Thakur in a very low family in order to be humble...

pastimes of Lord Balaram i do not know much but in His form as Lord Nityananda Prabhu He was so merciful to Jagai and Madhai. And also His promise:

---IF ANY PERSON, EVEN ONCE CALLS OUT LORD GAURANGA'S NAME WITH TEARS IN HIS OR HER EYES I WILL SHOWER MERCY UPON SUCH SOUL. I WILL GIVE EVERYTHING TO SUCH SOUL. I WILL FULFILL ALL HIS DESIRES.

    All glories to Lord Nitay!
