 I agree we are servants of lord and our constitutional positon is to serve him but at the same time as individual living entity we too have some small desires which does no harm to any one. I am in KC from last 3 years and till now I dont understand what kind of major harm tea,coffee,watching TV,parties can do. Why we are always told that our love to god is directly related to these kind of things. Why we are putting ourself into shell? Why on the name of krishna we are trying to become something which we are not actually. I dont know what krishna said at many places but I do believe the love between krishna and living entity is eternal and it will exists for eternity, remaining everything for me seems to be boundaries created by people to satisfy their intellectual thirst. Mostly I dont drink tea, coffee, liquor and dont even eat non-veg food,onion and garlic but at places where there is gathering of frens I do consume tea or coffee, for social relations(no liquor and non-veg). There is krishna in everybodies heart and he reciprocates just listen to him he want us to love him and he is not concerned with tea,coffee,onion,garlic etc. Please dont feel offended this is just my opinion I may be ignorant of foolish. I dont know why we quote from many places and defines what are likes and dislikes of krishna.I am not writing all this to escape from 4 regulations but just want to bring to the notice that we are losing our relations and still stick to the small things (tea,coffee)  and i dont know how wise it is.I know people who left their families becoz they are not following iskcon. I think there is  a need to spread love of god by taking everyone with us instead of creating groups. People with simple mind like me get really confused with extremist behaviour, I think of simple life with full of  love for all both devotees and non-devotees and pray krishna to guide us.Knowingly or unknowingly we are hurting some people by calling them karmis,mayavadis etc.The other day I was helping one of our frens who is really nice person then one of my devotee fren said to me that I should not associate with non-devotees. I discussed this point many times in discussions and got many references from many places but I am not satisfied with the answers.Forgive me If Iam offensive.
