Hare KrishnaWhen we smile, sometimes we cannot help it. Something inspires it, and we smile - it is almost hard not to. Let us say you are a rascal, and a grumpy rascal at that. Yet by some inspiration, be it the cute voice of a child who says something silly yet profound, you cannot stop it, the smile comes, and ... it emanates outward.Yes?Outward.Of course we are only human. Now imagine when a God Smiles.Or more to the point ... when the beautiful face of Krishna Smiles. This emanates outward ...Then it travels over those who see It coming, through them, it is a Force of a very special Prema Yoga. When this Smile comes to the observers, it is a form of Yoga. Love Yoga snd undescribable. So some say, a devotee of Krishna is self-centered and only concerned for their personal service to the Lord, and also only themself as the servant. But it is likely a mistake to think that, yes? Because, think about it. They serve the Lord, and let us say Krishna is pleased with that service. And so, imagine. Then Krishna smiles! It isn't only the devotee who benefits. The Smile of the Lord is very powerful - it truly emananates outward. If you are before that smile - let us say it was perchance. Let is say you are just travelling by. You are going about trying to sell trinkets. "Oh, see this temple. It is a Hare Krishna Temple. It has been many days I have travelled here and there, selling these tdinkets. I am very tired. And hungry. Everyone knows, the Hare Krishna Temple serves prashad on Sunday. What a chance! I will enjoy the darshan full of colours, and then feast on the prashad!"... sa the rascal happens to go into the temple in hopes of prashad to eat. And there is a devotee there who gives Krishna a very nice flower. And then, Krishna Smiles! This Smiles goes out like a sun beam and not just to the devotee, but hits the rascal in the heart, and others too.So we see what this devotee has done. The service that returns so much benefit for so many."Something special happened today, I felt it" says the rascal. "I feel so happy, like a dart hit me with Prema!"So it is. Yes?This is the Power of Krishna's Smile. Not only does the one who made Him smile benefit, but all those and everything in the path of That Smile. There is no discrimination. So this is my question. What is this Smile of Krishna? And, by chance if I pass by the Temple as a rascal, could you make Krishna smile when I happen to be in the back of the temple before the altar so that I can also benefit with that Prema that emanates outward to all, thanks to your Holy Service to the Lord? I would be very, very grateful. In your service

Special pranams to you prabhuji. After reading your post, I realised I am such a rascal. I go to temples for the feast - of eyes and of the belly. How many times have I thought that I should try to please Krsna. On top of that, I think that I am doing a very pious act and am really elevated that I go to temple regularly. Feeling so small right now - rightly so - I hope this feeling stays with me.
I am sure when you were writing this post, Krsna was smiling in your heart.
