Hare Krishna dear Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Very nice replies from Devotees and also it is because we want to serve to him vapu and vani.

Vani - by following his instructions.

Vapu - by rendering devotional even menial service. (or vise versa, if i do not mistake with Sanskrit)

Yes, Srila Prabhupada is the Founder Acharya and he will remain like this for 10 000 years. And after that religion will go down. In the altars there will be the same Paramapara photos up to 10 000 years.

You can refer to His Holiness Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami's lectures.

And Murti of a Guru is not different from him. As like there was one incident.

Yamunacharya was giving a class in one village. Then suddenly one of his fingers started bleeding. He saw it and  smiled and others asked what was it, why?

Then he told that in one village my disciples installing my murti but by mistake they damaged the finger of a murti because of that my finger now is bleeding.

       Your servant,

Hare Krishna. PAMHO. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Because Srila Prabhupada is the Guru of ISKCON and he founded it. It is said that a Guru should get the same respect and worhsip as Lord Hari. A guru is the representation of Krishna. Without guru's mercy we can not attain Krishna or go back to Godhead. Only a guru can deliver 1 from this material conditioned life. So 1's first duty is to worship and offer respect to guru then worship Krishna. We can not become a pure devotee of Krishna directly only by others' help. And due to Srila Prabhupada`s mercy you, I and many people are able to chant the names of Krishna, engage in His devotional service and even Westerners are able to visit temples and engage in Krishna's service. So then why can`t we install a Srila Prabhupada murti and worship it? He deserves the greatest respect. We are all indebted to Him. And we can only repay him back by serving his mission which is to preach and engage in devotional service.

  • Hare Krishna!!! Pamho!!!

    sākṣād-dharitvena samasta-śāstrair
    uktas tathā bhāvyata eva sadbhiḥ
kintu prabhor yaḥ priya eva tasya
    vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam

The spiritual master is to be honored as much as the Supreme Lord, because he is the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all revealed scriptures and followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master, who is a bona fide representative of Srī Hari [Kṛṣṇa].

    yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādo
    yasyāprasādān na gatiḥ kuto ‘pi
    dhyāyan stuvaṁs tasya yaśas tri-sandhyaṁ
    vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam

By the mercy of the spiritual master one receives the benediction of Kṛṣṇa. Without the grace of the spiritual master, one cannot make any advancement. Therefore, I should always remember and praise the spiritual master. At least three times a day I should offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my spiritual master.

    Jai Gurudev Srila Prabhupada!!!

    Haribol!!!
