I am new to ISKCON. I have heard that there is an order in which we have to read small books of Srila Prabhupada. Can anyone help me , in which order we have to read?

hare krishna everyone ,
im now reading vedic philosopy for students , its a very nice and complete book
so now im in a fix whether to read next Ramayana of valmiki or bhagavat gita as it is to know the art of living .
please devotees kindly advice .
Ramayana of Valmiki is good but the foremost and important and essence of all Vedas is Bhagavad Gita As It Is.
Vedas full for knowledge but Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita are like creams of the milk- the best part and the essence.
Bhagavad Gita As It Is changed and saved so many lives so please read first that then others!

We don't actually have to read these books in this exact order. What you heard, no doubt, is that new members should read these more digestible materials first. It may be better to read them in this order, because the philosophy is shown in slowly growing intensity.

from my own experience i can say that the first book which i read was Easy Journey to other planets, then Bhagavad Gita, then Srimad Bhagavatam, then Nectar of Devotion...
So first and foremost recommended Book is Bhagavad Gita As It Is.
Small books You can read within a day so it is not difficult but concerning big books:
Then follows Srimad Bhagavatam, then Chaitanya Charitaamrita,
In between Nectar of Instructions and Nectar of Devotion.
Then again start everything from the beginning.

I have read BHAGAVADGITA AS IT IS, ON THE WAY TO KRISHNA, BEYOND BIRTH AND DEATH, THE SCIENCE OF SELF REALIZATION, THE PATH OF PERFECTION, PERFECT QUESTIONS AND PERFECT ANSWERS.
So please give me list of next 5 books
1. Nectar of Instructions
2. Nectar of Devotion
3. Srimad Bhagavatam 1st Canto
and all 12 Cantos if will take nearly year or year and half.

also, as a side read I suggest reading the Krsna Book too (which is an analysis on the 10th canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam).
With the aforementioned books it's important to read them very diligently, and one should seek to understand each and every word, phrase, sentence, paragraph, chapter, etc. With the Krsna book you can simply read it on the side to relish and bathe your mind in the various images Prabhupada paints for us through this book. It helps us connect to Krsna and helps set us in the mood for the other book Maral Mataji has mentioned. I read it while I commute on the bus and I always get so immersed in the book. It's not a flowery book with humorous dialogue (for that I suggest The Supreme Mystic - Amal Bhakta: http://www.amalbhakta.com/supreme_mystic.html , who really makes the pastimes of Krsna so wonderful), but it's a scholarly text so we see the dialogue to be less informal, and very frequently there are breaks in the story line to help people understand a)what's going on, and b ) the significance of a certain pastime, quote, etc.
Of course with the Krsna book, it's important to read it diligently too, but you can also read it to simply read Krsna's pastimes.
But I too am a novice in KC, so please forgive me for anything i have said incorrectly
