Chanting maybe the most effective technique for approaching Krsna but who said pure chanting is easy?
" Isvarah sadyo hrdy avarudhyate 'tra kritibhih susrusubhis tat-ksanat (Bhag 1.1.2). Diverting even a little of one's attention toward Krsna and activities in Krsna consciousness immediately enables one to achieve the highest perfection of life. This is the purpose of the Krsna consciousness movement. Lokasyajanato vidvams cakre satvata-samhitam (Bhag. 1.7.6). The secret of success is unknown to people in general, and therefore Srila Vyasadeva, being compassionate toward the poor souls in this material world, especially in this age of Kali, has given us the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Srimad-Bhagavatam puranam amalam yad vaisnavanam priyam (Bhag. 12.13.18). For Vaisnavas who are some-what advanced, or who are fully aware of the glories and potencies of the Lord, Srimad-Bhagavatam is a beloved literature. "

I don't think SB is easiest. How can we learn all the 18000 slokas? and remember all the names of the descendents of all the kings.
Even if we remember also will Lord test our memory?
Who said anything about remembering. You just have to pick up the book and read to connect. If it is a book of Srila Prabhupada, then that reading is directly hearing Prabhupada (sravanam).
How many times reading will make us connect?
because I cannot remember any names of all the descendents mentioned in SB.
If I don't remember some son of son of son of so and so devotee .. what if Krishna will say you didn't read it perfectly go back to earth and read Page 1 to page end perfectly next time I will ask you so and son family tree. .. How many kilometers is moon to sun sun to vaikuntha.. how big the chandra mandal and saurmandal.. How vast is the meru parvat...
name all the lokas underneath where you sit and tell me each loka is specifically contains what type of creatures...
I am dead. I will fail in that exam.
I can copy paste from books but if I am asked .. on the spot viva on SB.. I don't think I can say all that family trees and numbers yojanas numbers etc. etc.
padhne tak achha hai exam memorization is tough too tough. I am surely going to fail.

Firstly, memorization is not upto you.
' mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca.'
But you don't seem to get the futility of memorization and that's also what's mainly happening in schools today, 'Rattafication '.
Rememberance and forgetfulness comes from Krsna.
A challenging attitude does not help and one should read in a submissive spirit as explained in the Introduction to Bhagavad-gita as it is.
Like water flows from a higher level to a lower level so does knowledge from books but you have to learn the art of being receptive to Prabhupada who you need to accept without doubt to be at a higher level.

Why do you think I am challenging?

I am asking geniunely I am finding it difficult to memorize things.. like family trees and also..
names of different lokas and the yojanas calculations
do we have to memorize all those?
I cannot remember anything I also read all these SB , BG CC and CB also but then.. I don't like to memorize stuff.
I understand get the gist of it..
gist of it is -- Sri Krishna is Supreme Personality of Godhead
to acheive HIS grace -- we need to chant the holy name
above all to get Lord's grace we need to develop some bhava and prema for Lord.

I also want to ask you to cool down a little. You rightly pointed out that I land myself in difficulty when I react in rage without thinking of the outcome.
I found something interesting as I have moved on to Sri Caitanya Caritamrta after finishing the last chapter of the Srimad-Bhagavatam (Chapter 13 Tenth Canto) translated and explained by Srila Prabhupada before his departure from this world.
" To those who are constantly devoted to serving Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me."

This verse of the Bhagavad-gita (10.10) clearly states how Govindadeva instructs His bona fide devotee...
Such pure devotees, always merged in knowledge of Krsna and absorbed in Krsna consciousness, exchange thoughts and realizations as great scientists exchange their views and discuss the results of their research in scientific academies. Such exchanges of thoughts in regard to Krsna give pleasure to the Lord, who therefore favors such devotees with all enlightenment. "

Sorry both you as I don't know anything about bhakti I am only an inexperienced person, but I do remember and I am NOT arguing of fighting I am only saying that
Srila Prabhupada said that we should READ his books and CHANT the holy name, he also did both of them, so k think we don't need right over what's the easiest we just do both of them
