Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada,

1. I want to know what happens when Prakriti Pralay (partial and Complete destruction) takes place?

2. When this universe (and everything) will be destroyed next time? After this destruction, how much time it takes to get created again?

3. Is it mentioned in the scripture, that every living entity gets an opportunity to become a human being (After a certain number of Brahma Yuga).

I am eagerly waiting, please guide me or rectify me if I am fool by raising such questions or if I hurt anyone.

Just Your Servant

  • 1. The third type of destruction, prakrit-pralay, is the end of the lifespan of Brahma.

    One day of Brahma = 1000 chokdi. Where,1 chokdi = Satyuga+Tretayuga+Dwaparyuga+Kaliyuga=43,20,000 years.

Thirty days of Brahma make one month; twelve months make one year; and a hundred years is the lifespan of Brahma. When Brahma dies, the brahmand, which consist of the fourteen loka, is destroyed. Then, all the entities that have evolved out of Prakriti are absorbed back into Prakruti. This is called Prakrit-pralay.

    2. Currently, 50 years of Brahma have elapsed and this is the first 'day' of the 51st year. Thus, this brahmand will get destroyed after 43,20,000 x 1000 x 360 x 50 years.

    3. Yes, it is mentioned in the scriptures that a jiva gets a human birth after 35 crore prakrit pralays.

Prabhuji, this time you have raised a very good query : )  I expect such queries from you in future : )

      or else:

      - one day of Lord Brahma - one type of destruction

      - Life span of Lord Brahma or one breath of Lord Vishnu.

So when Lord Brahma leaves his body whole universe is destroyed and goes back into the pores of Lord Vishnu.

      Your servant,
