what is difference between soul reaching vaikunta vs. getting moksha

Please access my humble obeisances.

 

I was wondering what is difference between soul reaching vaikunta vs. getting moksha. Is going to vaikunta like going to swarga where soul stays until all the good credits are exhausted? I understand that getting moksha means the sould out of samsara chakra. Please enlighten me.

    absolutely moksha is the removal from samsara chakra...going vaikunta or goloka comes under the topic of moksha..

    Hare Krishna Manohar Ramanuja Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

    Vaikuntha is a planet where living entities have 4 arms and they serve Lord Narayana who has also 4 arms... there are unlimited such like Vaikuntha planets. but in between there is a light which comes from the body of Lord Krishna or from all other His expansions. That effulgence is called Brahmajyoti - impersonal form of Lord Krishna.

    Living entities who serve to the impersonal form of the Lord they stay in that effulgence without any form and without doing anything, just being in bliss. and it is called as moksha.

    But the nature of the soul is dynamic. Soul is full for desires. Because of that individual soul can not stay in Brahmajyoti for ever. after long time it again comes back to this material world.

    But those who serve to the Form of God as Krishna or Ramachandra they go back to Krishna loka or to the Planet or Lord Rama and again continue to serve to their Lord and never ever come back again to this material world.

    Moksha means being freed from Cycle of Birth and Death.

    The only place in the universe where Cycle of Bith and Death doesnt exist is in "Golok Vrndavana" where Radha and Krishna resides.

    And yes you are right you can attain other heavely planets by doing good deeds and karma but when your good deeds are over you will have to come again in this material world and accept another body.
