According to Krishna, for dharma he took the birth. I am not able to understand why did Mahabharata happen. If happen what was the Dharm. I want to which dharm.

What is the dharma of water? What is the essential quality of water by which it is identified as water ? Naturally ,answer is : To flow is the main quality of water.Does it make any sense? So, what is the dharma of a living being?What is the essential quality of a living being by which it can be differentiated and identified as a living being? Well, to me it seems to be 'Service'.Service can be either done by a person or it can be rendered to a person.That is why Dharmaraj Yudhishthira asked Bhishma Pitahamaha what is the 'Paramdharma' of any person (i.e. a human being) by which all his problems and fears faced in this life can come to an end.Pitahamaha replied to him in the verses of Vishnu Sahastranam stotra i.e. 1000 names of Vishnu(i.e. the basic and prominent qualities of Sri Krishna), saying that it is only by constant awareness deveoped through complete surrender and continuous chanting of SriKrishna's divine qualities and listening to His various Lilas, that a person can finally become Swa-dharma-parayana, and thus find his self,i.e.become atmaram.Param Dharma of a person is to be engaged in constant loving devotional service of Srikrishna through his body,mind and heart.

Only Shudha Prema Bhakti unto the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagavan Sri Sri Radhe Sri Krishna Chandra and all His Direct Plenary expansions is Dharma (as Mata Maral Alim has rightly said below). Everything else is adharma. Conceptually and technically adharma should not exist at all.
Happening of Mahabharata is a continuous process on this Bhuloka.
What is documented as Mahabharata is one with its sole purpose of giving a demonstration to the human kind about surrender unto Dear Lord. This Demo was given by both Krishna Bhagavan and Balarama Bhagavan. Arjuna was none other than Balarama in a multiplexed format)
The rate at which progress happened was not satisfactory for Himself and He quickly came back (within 4500 years of His arrival as Bhagavan Krishna. You can consider this as immediate in the cosmic time frame)in His form as Bhagavan Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Bhagavan Nityananda (Who was none other than Bhagavan Sankarshana Himself) and demonstrated and FREELY Gifted Shudha Prema Bhakti to one and all.
Including drunkards and drug addicts.
Since the degeneration was consistently increasing, He quickly came back as Bhagavan Srila Praphupada the Supra Excellent Avesha Avatara of Himself and burst the transcendental knowledge bank by print media world wide.
He observed the response of the jivas who studied them and imbibed them into their existences and became exclusively HIS.
Then He came in His Avatara as Internet to give the same transcendental knowledge bank to one an all by the flick of a finger on the mouse. But the fact is that this flick of ones finger has to happen by his/her free will. Dear Lord does not enforce it.
We are so vile and fallen that we use the Internet for practically all reasons except receiving His transcendental knowledge bank while He silently supports by bringing us what ever data our finger flicks for. (Internet and all other technology based comforts we are enjoying today are evolute of Magnetism. Magnetism and weightlessness are technologies of Bhagavan Sankarshana which sustains the space and the planets that float within it traveling at speeds beyond 60 million miles per hour without any jerk)
This is HIS silent agony in current day Corporate Mahabharata. We should not escape by calling His silent agonies as His Leelas or that He is transcendental to material worlds etc. They are not. Dharma of a soul is to serve to Krishna with love and devotion.
Krishna comes to these material worlds just attract us to Himself and create in us desire to go to the Spiritual World and eternally be happy there.
Mahabharata is finished here in the Earth Planet but at this time Krishna performs His lilas in other universes. So His lilas are eternal.
To ask why Mahabharata happened is the same thing with why there is history, why there is creation, population...
Mahabharata is a part of great history which happened 5000 years ago. The history when there was Devotees and Krishna appeared in order to protect His Devotees and destroy the enemies.
In this age of Kali the Dharma is to chant the Holy Names of Krishna and call Him. Anything else we are not able to do. We are as like tiny, incapable child, and child when he needs the help of his mother cant walk, run or speak properly...nothing. but only crying he can explain everything.
