I've read 60% of the Mahabharata, and I'm blown away by the kind of advanced species and technologies existed back then.There were devas from heavenly planets witnessing the war, weapons like astras were used which had lot of fire power, and some races were wiped out permanently too. Then there were some exotic demon creatures who tried to attack Krishna and Balarama at their young ages.
If we look at some ancient structures like Giza pyramids, we do know that there were advanced species back then since even today's civil engineers cannot construct anything like the Giza pyramids.
Today, not even a single demigod visits Earth, has intelligence shrunk so badly in Kali Yuga? Please explain.

just 100 years back people's lives were not so sinful as like these days. Just 50 - 70 years back there were chaste wives who voluntarily used to follow their husbands after their leaving this world...
Just 50-60 years back, for example, my mother has 9 siblings, and my father has 10 siblings. Which means their parents did not used to kill children within the womb.....and do not use other sinful things just for sense pleasure.........
So things are changing too fast. Because of advancement of so called modern education.
For example, when we study Ayurveda: Ayurveda explains eaten food first turns into some type of liquid then into blood then into flesh then into fat then into bone than into the substance within the bone then into sperm.
It says that Ayurveda does not study the chemical sides of elements but study goes on on the basis of spiritual knowledge and etc. dependence on mother nature ...
but these days studying chemical sides of things we just try to exploit the nature. If Ayurveda says that cow gives milk out of her love for her child we now learned that her milk is produced within her womb and started to create artificial ways of getting milk from her.
If it says that vegetables are nourished by the light of the Moon now studying the chemical substances of the vegetables we started to create inorganic vegetables, pulses...which are destroying human and animal health.
... so in this way degradation is running in the speed of mind. So Krishna Consciousness is emergency.
If each of us find Devotees of Krishna among karmi people and make them remember Krishna we will save lives of hundreds of animals, and many other Devotees because in the future they will also preach.
