forgetfulness Prabhu, forgetfulness.
We will forget how much important is to go back home.
Lust and anger will force us to commit sins so sins cover our consciousness. Our real consciousness which is - i am not this body but soul.
To degrade is very easy. One may be engaged with Devotional service for many years and do many great services but if she or he becomes little bit careless with lust then he will fall dawn degrade.
Because of that we have to be careful of even details in our sadhana: food habits, association, sleep, reading, chanting...or else maya is very strong.
Lust will enter into mind then into intelligence. When it enters into intelligence one looses the ability to discriminate what is correct and what is wrong. So does sins.
