Vrisiting Vrindavan for the first time in November for day and half

I'm just back home after 4 days in Vrindavan.I planned a one & a half day trip firstly then I added more time & places. Frankly I feel we need atleast 10 days to cover each & every lila-sthali including Govardhan,Barsana,Nandgaon,Gokul & Mathura.You may stay at nearby hotels.If u can pay bit more,opt for MVT GUEST HOUSE.It's d best place for staying.Book online.Govinda's restaurant is the safest place to eat.
If u are reaching Vrindavan by noon or early evening,first visit ISKCON temple.Then from dere u can hire a riksha (first fix the price,better to tell the places u want to visit to the hotel room boy or security & enquire the correct price,or just ask them to hire a riksha for u so that the rikshawala won't cheat.When they drop u must save their phone number bcoz once u visit Temple & come back to road there are chances that rikshawala may be waiting for u somewhere else & u may walk down the wrong street & lost way.Don't opt taxi it will take time to drive through streets).You may visit Sri Ranganath Temple,Radha Gopinath Temple,Radha Govindji Temple,Banke Bihari (crowded temple),Radha Raman (Gopala Bhatta Goswami's Samadhi is on same plot),Radha Damodar Temple(Prabhupad's kitchen & room is there,u may visit Rupa Goswami's Samadhi too),Radha Shyamsundar Temple & Madan Mohan Temple.
Next early morning u may attend Iskcon mangala aarati at 4:30am.Or u may take rest & get ready by 6am & go for Govardhan Parikrama by taxi.(Bcoz Walking takes 6 hours to complete)U can book taxi at Iskcon at reasonable price.And be ready to walk down streets. There u may visit Manasi Ganga,Govind Kund,Kusum Samovar,Radha Kunda, Shyama Kunda & Sangam.Back in Vrindavan take breakfast and take some rest at Iskcon if needed & hire an auto for Vrindavan Parikrama(u r gonna do parikrama of 5,500 temples in Vrindavan) . Starting from Iskcon u are going to visit Krishna Balaram Tree,Varaha Ghat(now ghat is not there as Yamuna is not flowing through there,but u can see the place where Krsna showed his Varaha form to gopis),Mohana Ter(its a garden where Cupid tried to conquer Krsna,u may just see the place from road),Kaliya Ghat ,take darshan of Kaliya Mardana Krsna & the kadamba tree is still there,Imli Tala,Chir Ghat(krsna has stolen gopis clothes here), Kesi Ghat(u may do yamuna arati here), then u will come by Pani Ghat(where gopis collected water),u may just see the place from road,then Jagannath Mandir, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's sitting place, Dauji Temple(Radharani in the form of Balaram),Radharani's well.Back in Iskcon now u have completed Vrindavan Parikrama.It will take one & half hours to complete.By early evening u may visit Nidhivan (opt to visit Nidhivan at day time, or enquire to a local devotee bcz nobody is allowed dere by dusk).Visit Vaishno Devi Temple & Prem Mandir (visit dere at dusk, the lighting effects are awesome,musical fountain is by 7pm.)by ur own.No assistance is needed.
U may visit Mathura & Gokul instead of Govardhan as u wish!Strongly avoid other guides.
Enquire at Iskcon temple if any devotee is willing to come wid u to these places.Or if u know any devotee dere ask them to kindly come with u so dat dey will take u to these places & narrate the pastime behind each place.U may give them a small amount as Dakshina if u are willing.They won't ask u.
U may browse the above mentioned places & know the story behind.Beware of monkeys.U may wear spectacles inside a building but never in road.Better to check around when u have to wear them.Even in night they might be watching us & will take away spects easily.Keep polythene bags & eatables inside your shoulder bags. Otherwise newly bought things will be taken away by them.Keep ur valuable things safe,especially wallets & ATM cards.Some streets maybe untidy but keep in mind these changes are due to time & people.If u can reject them & think that u are walking through the sand where Krsna Balaram & Radharani has played it will be an awesome experience.Happy Journey!

Firstly, beautifully described dear Meera Krsna Mataji. So nice you did so much.

THe best thing to do would be to inquire in ISKCON temple tourist centre, if a group is going anywhere (most are in Nov), join them.
