Wonderful!! You will be guest to the lord of the universe. If you can, please carry a small gift for the deities. It could be anything - I hope you have seen the pictures atleast of the deities - there are 4 altars - Sri Sri Radha Madhav Ashta Sakhis, Sri Nrisimhadeva, Sri Pancha Tattva, and Sri Jagannath, Baldev Subhadra of Rajapur (close to Mayapur, a must visit). Whatever you can think, any small thing, maybe local speciality or something which you can make with your own hands, would be very special and personal gift.
You have to give the gift to the pujaris - anyone will help you reach the right person if you say you have a gift. You can try to meet HG Jananivas Prabhuji or HG PankajAnghre prabhuji and hand over your gift. Meeting them itself is a gift prabhuji, they are so pure and exalted.
Your mood should be that of a sponge - where you simply soak in the environment, all the aratis, lectures, devotee association, prasadam. Follow 4 regulative principles there, chant 16 rounds there everyday. If you are going with family, no family life in dham please.
