humble obeisances
Any criticism,blasphemy of a devotee,harsh language to a devotee,fault finding and telling the same to others even if they are true come under offenses. Offenses kill our spiritual life. Once a person commits offenses, the first thing that happens is that the person's taste for chanting goes away, then the person loses taste for service and then for devotee association.It all happens step by step and then the devotee may even leave Krsna consciousness.Offenses are very dangerous for one's spiritual life.We should be always humble and non envious. We should never be proud of ourselves, because pride comes before the fall.If we are humble, we will never fall down.Humility means accepting what we are and taking shelter.Also we should be careful not to use harsh language, to criticize or find faults in other devotees. Instead we should glorify others and think ourselves as servants of everyone else.
