I wanted to ask that can we use soap / shampoo while wearing Kanthi Mala ? Will soaps / shampoos cause any damage to the beads ?

PAMHO.
Please use soap/ shampoo whatever else you use for keeping the body clean.
If kanthi mala breaks for any reason, get another one, put on lord's feet and then wear a second one.
Once worn, kanthi mala is never removed to the extent possible.
