Please Accept My Humble Obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada, Gurudev & Gauranga.Hare KrishnaWhat about those who chant Hare Krishna Maha Mantra on beads other than Tulasi mala???Are their prayers still accepted as long as they are sincere?Another question is, why are Gaudiya Vaisnavas not told to use/wear Rudraksha or Neem or Sandalwood? These are also Holy artifacts. Please explain this further to me.Forgive me if I am making an offense in asking this question.I pray this meets you in the best of health.Hari bolYour Servant,Bhakta David

Krishna is Bhaavagrahai janardana. He sees our love and sincerity only and not what ingredients are being used to worship him or chant his names. However, as Maral mataji has nicely explained here, beads made of different materials can give different material benefit. Since Tulasi is very dear to Krishna, devotees prefer to use Tulasi beads.

Rudraksh is dear to Lord Shiva and mostly shivates wear them and use for japa.

    Hari bol!!!

Hare Krishna David Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

There are different effects in using various malas.

For example, if beads are made of gold, if i do not make mistake, gives wealth.

in Neem beads protection from subtle things and health

But when beads are made of Tulasi there is big chance for achieving love for Lord Krishna.

Because She is a Desire Tree that fulfills all spiritual desires.

Maha Mantra is accepted any how if It is chanted sincerely but other things are very helpful. So why not achieve our goal as quickly as possible!? :-)
