Hare Krishna Dear Deepa Mataji and Deepak Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
also sometimes Diksha Guru is not able to give a particular service to all of His disciples, in that case He may give instruction in the form of Shiksha Gurus. In other words we have to be attentive with all Devotees and other living beings. Sometimes we may get knowledge even from dogs.
Guru Maharaja loves when disciples associate with each other friendly and help each other to progress in KC. He loves when junior Devotees listen seniors. He loves when each Devotee eagerly serves to others.
Also the best Disciple is that who gets knowledge from Guru and distributes it to others - preaches, distributes books, or at least make her children Krishna Conscious.
Your servant,
Hare Krishna,
Guru gives different services to different disciples based on their caliber. chanting is a default service, every disciple has to do. But there are other tangible services which the Guru gives based on the capacity.
For some Hanuman like devotees, A Guru may give a huge service and for a squirrel like devotees a guru may give small service. And when a desciple executes that service, Guru is pleased.
For example in one lecture of Bhurijan Pr, He says that he was contributing 200$ to Prabhupada and Prabhupada would appreciate him very much for his contribution and glorify in front of devotees. One day Tamal Krishna Mh came to Prabhupada and gave collection of 10000$ from his preaching, Prabhupada said "Just 10000? i was expecting more", then Bhurijan pr was shocked..
In the same way a Guru may expect different services from different disciples..
