Radhe krishna prabhuji,,prabhuji i some question regarding tulsi jap mala,,1)-when using tulsi mala for first time, do we have to apply ghee on it or have to pour pure water,, or simply we can put in the lotus feet of shree krishna?2)- can i wear tulsi jap mala, and the same can i use it for chanting also,?3)- do i have to remove tulsi jap mala before going to washroom?4)- i am following 4 regulatory principles but not able toquit tea , also sometime i occasionaly eats foodprepared with onion and garlics.can i wear tulsi mala ?radhe radhe

If you want to get krishna take this advice if you like-Lovingly remember Shri Radha all the time, and wholeheartedly sing Her name and virtues. Through this bhakti (loving remembrance), Shri Krishna will leave His abode and come running, without even being called. He has this much love for Shri Radha's name. Hari bol

I have been chanting 12-16 rounds for quite a few months on neem mala, following the 4 regulations, hear regularly, read Srimad Bhagavatam regularly, and Bhagavad gita, associate with devotees 2 times a week on online class.
my family is not so devotionally inclined, so although I want to give up Onion and Garlic I can't and If I rebel they won't allow me to chant also or maybe stop my devotional activities
However, I long to chant on tulsi beads, not just because everyone is chanting but I know she is a great devotee of the lord and will bless and assist me in chanting
Can I chant on tulsi mala or should I keep praying to the Lord to let me have an Onion and Garlic-free life?
I will wear tulsi mala on my neck after giving up onion and garlic but what about beads for chanting?
Yes you can wear it and japa from it and wear it while bathing dont put a strict stop on your senses they may spring out like a when you press a spring and release it it springs out the same way they do only way to attain krishna is sharnagati perform dandwat to krishna and say from heart my mind is yours my body is yours my senses are yours I am fully yours I surrender to you and you only do this everyday.
Surrender to krishna only way to attain pure devotion you only have to realise that he is yours and realise from heart and everything is done you will attain devotion may radharani bless you dont forget to take her blessings everyday she gives pure love offer pranam to her and chant her name too if you want krishna to love you

1) Shine your Tulasi Japa Mala by chanting on them.
2) You may wear one strand of tulasi around your neck.
Anyone who is chanting ONE ROUND per day can wear one strand of tulasi.
Keep your japa mala (chanting beads) in your bead bag.
Do not chant with japa mala hanging from your neck, japa mala should remain
in your hand or in your bead bag.
3) It is a good practice to remove holy items before bathing and restroom visits.
4) You are following three of the four regulations. That's great, keep it up.
Always wear your neck beads, show people you believe in Shri Krishna.
5) None of us are perfect, but in this neophyte stage we must try and try again.
Do not over-burden yourself with "holy-ness" traditions and standards if you
cannot keep those standards.
It sounds like you are off to a good start, Mahesh Prabhu.
Keep things simple, and try new things without fear of offenses.
Sri Krishna is always pleased with earnest efforts.
addendum to 3) .. you may always keep your tulasi neck beads on, even while bathing.
Over the years, devotees I've met have been about 50-50 on that opinion.
