Recently I came across an article on internet regarding a mass shoot out case in a college of Santa Barbara . The case is about a guy who in his 20's was suffering from intense loneliness and sexual frustration which lead him to take revenge against the woman and few men of his college. He shot down many fellow students of that college.This is an increasing phenomena due to increasing hedonistic free mixing culture of men and woman in society where we are giving birth to jealousy , envy, greediness and the outcome is fatal just like in this case. In this regard I would like to quote few verses from Bhagavad Gita which proves it's universal non sectarian approach to the problem of humanity for all eternity beyond any dependency on time place and circumstances.Bg 2.62 — While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.Bg 2.63 — From anger, complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool.Bg 3.36 — Arjuna said: O descendant of Vṛṣṇi, by what is one impelled to sinful acts, even unwillingly, as if engaged by force?Bg 3.37 — The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world.This is not just a single isolated case from America but it is one of the case out of many cases and this kind of culture India is trying to imitate by throwing away it's own ancient Vedic wisdom. We see others as a source of our suffering. Where as in the reality we get results of our own karma. No one has fault to our distress or happiness.
We get as much as we deserve.
In the reality such thing happens when we do not have knowledge. We want to love and be loved but we search for a person among mortals.
But no one of those people can love us and we love them for the full extent.
Only Krishna can do that.
So people need knowledge.
